This ending was so touching. You could see the passion that Hongki felt in his face and you could hear it in his voice. I feel as if Hongki really wanted to reach Mina's heart, even if it was just as a good friend. I feel as if he genuinely cared for her.

of all the endings i watched in wgm, this is the best! it gives the feeling of not the ending but a new beginning to a beautiful friendship. hongki prepared it well. perfect from the farewell vid to changed lyrics to hongkimina necklace. the best !!!

I am pretty inlove with his great husky voice. I first came to know him in the drama bride of the century.never had an idea that he is a singer with a very powerful voice. Love his voice so much.
This is the best parting ways of wgm. It's not that painful. And the he replaced the ring with the necklace. They are still friends up to now.❤
The girls seemed to have it harder than the guys when WGM ended. I agree that Hongki seemed to take this just for a show. He was natural on camera in every way, but the feeling & chemistry for Mina just wasn't there at all. He took care of her just like a good friend.

Hongki is best actor and best singer I watched He's beautiful more than 20 times because all the characters in that drama was beautiful A.N.JELL and I always listen to angels songs almost very day. And those songs make my day beautiful

Truly amazing. Sometimes a singing voice becomes fairly more eloquent than spoken words. Throughout this series, I really loved the opposite way this couple showed their sincerity to each other. Totally opposite, but because of it, their relationship became far more precious. So many love and gratitude for MINA, HONGKI, and all of the staffs who devoted themselves for this show.
Its been years but Hongki singing Severely for Mina is still my favourite thing ever 😍

I would have cried as well, I even cry at stupid pictures on FB. She doesn't necessarily have to be in love to feel emotional at a goodbye. Or to like someone. Hongki is a very likable kid. Professionally, it's just a show for both of them, for all WGM couples. And it's partially scripted, as well. Do you think it was Hongki staging these performances and "surprises"? Hongki & Mina's journey was like a real relationship with it's highs and lows. But just as you totally get drawn into their relationship in ep.14 they get their final mission card and views finally get to see how emotional they are invested into this experience and we are left with the question, are you serious why now!

That was SO SAD. He wasn't ready for the show to end. The shock on his face was real. He made the end So SWEET. Seems as if he matured a lot during this show. Why did the show end it so abruptly? They were just getting to really bond. Sad.

I'm a guy and I think this is just too damn cute. I love how he chose the song that they she decided to play for him because I remember how he said that's when he really looked at her a different way. Even nicer how he changed the lyrics just to fit for her.
The moment they were told to prepare for parting to each other they were both shocked & sad...hong ki was like he wasn't prepared for ending their marriage life yet, ...& same feelings goes to mina...they both just get closer to each other & suddenly a mission card came out frim nowhere saying the missiin of saying goodbye!!!like SERIOUSLY!!!!I felt sad though this was filmed few years ago already...they do have natural chemistry ...we hope that one day they could have a project together & see them kiss on screen;-);-);-)

I felt Hongki was really self-centered; even when doing things for Mina he was the center of attention. But the more I watch this, the more I realize while he loved putting on a show, it was only when those 2 were alone (not including GWGM Staff). This truly is the sweetest ending I've seen. Miss Mina is an absolute sweetheart and probably the only one that can tame Hongki. Haha
I felt the same the first time i watched it! But then i got to know him and his band FT Island, and learned more about Lee Hong Ki personality. I re-watched it again and I cld tell that he WAS really trying. He has done his best in this marriage, considering his character. LoL.
I really wish he got someone like Fujii Mina in real life, thou! Their contradictive characters completed each other.
famimo I watched everything that was available on UA-cam at the time. I don't recall when, but I re-watched this season on DramaFever, not realizing how much got cut out from the UA-cam uploads and I understood him better. I agree that he did do his best and you can clearly see it in the later episodes. ^^
