The trumpet was too loud, flat, and without any vibrato (which it needed in this song). A violin would have been a much better choice - especially for a simple, sustained line like this. It would have also blended better with the cello which started too loud but was then adjusted afterward. Love the song.
something in the instrumentation sounds flat... maybe wrong tone on the bass?
