The customer is always right in the matter of taste (that last part gets left off by 99% of people and means that what they like is what they like)- We all watch you because you enjoy what you are doing, Kev. You can't please everyone, but we watch and will keep watching because of you, and how you treat everyone around you and how much you enjoy this hobby!
I think this is a damn valuable channel to the community, even though people wont (probably) bash their rc cars as hard as you do, but it does show value for money, that fully carbon rc you tested is a fine example of this, it cost a fortune and self destructed within 30 seconds, you saved umpteen people thousands of pounds. Keep doing what you're doing Kev, you're more valuable to the community than you realise.
When I first started watching I was one of those who railed against him bashing and breaking. Then I "got it" and saw there's a method to his madness....we refer to that as 'testing to destruction'.
No matter what though, my nuts contract a little whenever he bashes and breaks the raminator....he's paid more for that than my full sized F150 4 x 4 crew cab!
And even if nobody bashes even close to as hard as kev it can still show weaknesses in a rc design because if kev breaks it quickly like on the first outing that is kind of a week spot because he seems to be going easier in the beginning

Ive been learning, no matter if you praise or trash an RC car, there is always someone to get upset about what you said. Thats one thing I always like about your videos, we can see whats happening! Make our own decisions. Thanks for all you do Kev.
I have chronic pain and chronic headaches every day of my life because I have a disease that basically lets tumors grow anywhere in my body and I have lot of them as of typing this and most are benign thank god. The same disease and tumors took my hearing after having perfect hearing for the first 25 years of my life and I'm also paralyzed from the waist down from being backed over by a truck when I was 2 years old but I regained use of everything except my legs but I don't complain or have a pity party because I always think of the people who are so so much worse off than me. I would be lying if I said I didn't have my dark days but that's when I come to youtube and start watching kev and the light gets brighter and I smile again because of the fun goofy chaos that is Kevin Talbot. I come to watch kev bash the hell out of these RC'S and do what I can't afford to do and that helps me make my decision on what I am interested in buying. Granted I live on disability because of my health issues and I am in hospice care at home so it's super hard to try and save up money for the RC stuff which sucks because it's something I dearly enjoy and takes away some of my stress and helps me forget about my issues for a little while. I really want a losi lmt but that's gonna be awhile because $650+ ain't easy money to come up with. I am ending this long ass comment finally lol, and I am sorry for it being so long but I needed to add in a short version of my story to understand. love from South Carolina, USA. You da best kev!

But it's the same thing over and over....when is gonna change?....I've kinda idled my RC cars since last year, I walk outside and don't think Abt them much unless I get a wild hair to get them out....buying a rand new Honda pioneer 1000 6 has taken my interest in another direction😅

I didn’t get your channel at first . But once I’d watched a few my opinion changed.
It changed more once I realised you are actually very intelligent and a capable individual in many ways .
You have got somewhere in life through trying.
The not noticed things like marketing/ editing/ attention to detail that probably not many viewers think of that’s involved.
And of course the hours and hours of dedicated unseen time .
Reminds me of myself wanting to fly real helicopters and aircraft, build cars and make stuff etc etc .

Both I drove bottomed the chassis out on acceleration and braking. On pavement handling wasn't awful but there was enough body roll for the tires to rub the body. That was with the pre load cranked down half an inch on both ends. I can't imagine it doing great jumping big when it chassis slaps just driving around.
Amen to that both for the Talbot test and definitely send it to the mooonn!!!

I appreciate seeing what the rcs can take. Thank you for showing us how not to be afraid of playing with my toy. You taught me that I don’t need to be upset if the replaceable part needs to be replaced
I love the fact that you bash the hell out of you RC’s as it shows all of us which ones are way more durable and for anyone with kids knowing which ones won’t break in 5 minutes helps a lot.

I’ve been watching your channel for about 3-4 years now and every time I watch it puts a smile on my face! You are an inspiration to a lot of people, young and old! There were a few times when I got frustrated with the hobby and these fan boys trashing one brand or the other! It made it not fun anymore. But then I went to your channel and rewatched a bunch of videos and remembered that we’re all playing with toy cars (cheap or expensive) and like you always say “it’s about what puts the biggest smile on your face that matters!” That’s what life is all about and I sincerely believe that’s why people watch your videos! Finding your channel is what got me back into RC cars. I love that it's independent reviews and that you leave it for people to make their own minds up and leave a link for purchases.
Also you're hard on the cars so we know they can stand a hit! No point being light on a basher! Made me buy a few of the cars featured on the channel 😁.

Alex kowaliuk here kev , congrats on the new place I just moved into a new apartment last week and just that was alote of work so moving to an island and buying a house I know was a handful.
I got back into RC after 30+ years because of your videos. I still have my original Tamiya cars that i used to run. Used the Tamiya Madcap and Schumacher Storm for competition. Now just for fun, couple of MJX Hyper Go's, Arrma Kraton 8S, couple of HPI 5B's. Planning to get the Tamiya Nissan 300ZX IMSA GTO up and running again as well (never saw anyone do a video on that car).

kev I love the channel, because the way you bash you rigs most people would never go that hard. I want to thank you, your content helped me through a rough time in my life, I was unable to walk for over a year, shot story I shattered my left leg broke both my heels and my right ankle. Needless to say I spent a lot of time watching youtube and you always put on a good show, and i like seeing all the rc's that i cant afford be sent to the moon. It's kinda bad because i am unable to work do to the damage that was dun in the accident, and watching just makes me want more cool RC's. thanks for the years of content looking forward to see what's next

We were talking bout those rc trucks that come from Walmart I got my Lil girl the blue ford thought it was 4x4 but it wasn't, at least they could have done was put some ass behind it, and better servo. I wish Kevin would take it and make her a good lil truck out of it?????? As for Andy why not just fit a stock OM606/5 or M57 BMW engine and ZF transmission. Try and keep it on the cheaper side. Its a bit like RC. If you do everything high end, the results are predictable. I think many of us get a kick out of seeing what happens when you do stuff on the "cheap". Plus its more relatable.
