Welcome Wyatt! Glad to see the new generation of Mountaineers! I think court storming for a conference win is a bit of an over reaction, but a win over No.3 Kansas, especially this year, is worth a storming. Big shout put to all the players and coaches for finishing this game!

West Virginia will need to win the Big 12 tournament in order to make the NCAA tournament.
Hey Couz. If we can go on the road, beat UCF and OSU, we have Cincy at home. Plus BYU at home. Then the two games we may drop, Texas and TCU away.
WVU has a long long long long way to even tjhink about the NCAA Tournament. WVU needs to just win as many game as they can and hope something comes from getting over 500 or above in the Big 12.
I don’t know about making the tournament possibly the NIT depending on how the rest of the season goes. But to be fair let’s keep in mind some of those bad loses came when we had 3 or 4 guys who are in the starting lineup now not playing

We need to win the conference tournament. NO other way. To win 9 out of the next 11 or 12 games is not feasible. I wish it were, but we ha e a huge conf schedule left.
Court storming.. is ok as long as respectful . We have really struggled.
It’s a tough hill to climb for sure……is it doable. Odds against but anything is possible.

And u absolutely dont see enough from eilert to bring him back....the bad losses we had, were because he was over his head. Hes improved yes, but we need a coach thats established
I don’t think any other coach would’ve done much better with what they’ve been through after the Huggins incident
@@bobfox2733 i disagree. Completely. A veteran coach would know how to attack a zone, or to teach help side defense. Hes mad bad calls at the most critical times in game, thats cost us.
He literally out coached Bill Self in a game. Can you at least give him some credit for that?

@@hoopsfromthehills no he didn't! did u even watch the game? the only reason we won was shooting 57% from 3 which will never happen again and only won by 6. This coach did have 500 record against non conf. I'm done with this horrible podcast y'all have no clue about bball. smh
The only way for WVU to get to the tournament is for them to basically win out. We have very bad losses to Monmouth and Radford at home. Even winning 17 games would not be enough. Would need 19 wins. There’s no way that happens.

At the very least, Eilert deserves to be in the interview pool next year. WVU has to do it's due diligence, and check out other options, but they would be crazy to not give him a chance at the job
Are u blind? he can't even beat a D2 school go look at the teams that beat us they suck in their own conf. Call Belien before Michigan does.
@@TimmyPruitt166 But that roster, during the OOC games, was short-handed with as few as 7 eligible players. Beilein would be a nice catch, however.
I'm willing to accept that this team isn't likely to go to the tournament, as fair or not as it maybe to the team, but still have fun rooting for this team on a game to game basis.

It's simple. Just win baby. Over .500 win percentage, finish in the top half of the conference and they're in. Really? Top 9 or 10 in the conference will go.
We have to keep winning. These ranked wins are great..but if we aint close to 500 in the big 12 it wont matter
