@@bigbubba4314 He talks about ASYLUM SEEKERS. Asylum from what? Poverty is not covered by asylum reasons, nor is lack of work or gang threats or exploitation by ruthless bosses. Asylum is precisely defined by international conventions but he carefully avoids to dwell on that point.

@@Mike_HuntizWet no the house did, the Senate voted 51-49 to not bring it to a trial. All 51 democrats voted no so it wouldn’t go to a trial. Which is bad because as I think Lindsay Graham actually said something relevant but pointed out that they at least voted to impeach Bill Clinton to bring to a trial so they could at least hear the arguments before dismissing it.

I am questioning whether Mr Mayorkas, or any other Cabinet member for that matter, has actually taken the Oath of Office. Is there notarized documentation, as required by the law, that he or any other Cabinet member has taken that Oath? Are there witnesses? This is in addition to Mr Mayorkas' deliberate and willful violation of immigration law, and the consequent deterioration to our social order. The damage to our country is at this point incalculable, and he cannot seem to make the connection of his intentional actions to the results of his actions.

Mayorkas is a lawyer and a politician.....that is his background. I would love to read the scope of work and duties and responsibilities for his office. In my opinion the DHS slot needs to be held by an individual that understands more than "the law". This person needs to understand the complexities of layering security for our nation and the threats that are out there and how they operate. You don't learn that in law school. I don't even think it registers to this man how many lives he has placed in danger at this point.
