I wonder how long it took Tommy to collect all that merchandise. That's a huge store! Everything has a place. I love the individual categorized rooms. My grandmother had a full set of those aluminum canisters. Hers had the black lids. I ate many a cookie out of the cookie canister. It was always filled with Oreos! Seeing alot of the vintage items sure brings back alot of memories.
Oh Dagny! That big glass hat "that would hold so many toothpicks" gave me a great memory. My great aunt Beady gave me that exact little toothpick holder (oh she was quite the collector of them). She passed in the late 80's. I kept that with me..and used it until it got broken around 2010. The sentimental feels when it got broken due to moving....sentimental. :)
Tommy,s new store, The Vintage Kitchen and Antiques has so many beautiful pieces; more than that, you could pick up and turn it all over to learn instead of just saying now here is a pretty dish. You could learn a lot by examining it all, and over time you could be like Joselyn.

I just found a Geza DeVegh sculpture I have listed myself! He was a Hungarian immigrant. I love learning about the finds, little lessons in history along the way of thrifting travels. Thanks for highlighting the one you found. Mine is a cornucopia candle holder sculpture.

What a beautiful store “Tom’s”! I enjoyed your visit there so much! I was looking for pink or green custard glass in a biscuit container with metal handles or not. I lost out on one when I lived in Benson, AZ. I never forgot about that beautiful piece. I have a pretty good sized collection of different types of glassware. I need to sell it all to help fund help for spreading the Gospel to other’s. I thought about selling on eBay but a bit scared to do it. It’s a big job to monitor and keep up with it. Oh my gosh Dagny, i just came back from a girlfriend weekend where we rented a cottage on a farm in Newmanstown. On Saturday we made pottery at Inspire Pottery Studio in Denver and then we rode around and just so happened to find this vintage kitchen store. I recognized the store immediately from your video and spoke with Tommy briefly as well. His store is AMAZING....sort of like a museum....i was stunned. Can't wait to go back. I hope you do a meet and greet there sometime !
