Many people in the audience WILL have voted Conservative in the last election, but Konstantin asked how many asked for unfettered immigration, and the answer is nobody, because the Conservatives said they'd reduce immigration numbers, not increase them, and THAT'S what people voted for. People need to open their eyes and accept that a manifesto is not worth the paper it's written on.

You say that it is being said in Britain, I have to disagree with that. The people here are totally blinded by the nonsense put out by the state broadcaster. To see this exchange on Question Time is amazingly rare, and I would be amazed if they risk letting Konstantin on the program again. This is rare.., and not at all a common occurence.

Positively up lifting to hear an intelligent person like Constantin speak pure unadulterated sanity and truth .
Let's go back 55 years and ask ourselves "What problems have we got here in Britain that will be solved by allowing 6 million+ immigrants in over the forthcoming decades, will solve?". I'm pretty sure the answer is "not very many", and that it has also brought us many more problems (e.g. that woman in the audience is so disgusted by the country she likely migrated to that she must shout at people for praising it").
Years ago the British forces asked for volunteers for redundancy. It worked out better to take redundancy than carry on to complete 22years, so they got rid of the expert troops. Then months latter they had a big recruiting campaign. We have not a great forces now, we need it, but putting con strips on the front line with expert service personnel is not the right thing to do. I do not know what the answer is, but this country needs a good shake up.

When I joined the army just after the Berlin wall came down, I was posted to Germany as a combat engineer in BAOR ( British Army of the Rhine )....back then the defence budget was 4% of GDP and we had 312,000 military.......we were effectively told we were the frontline in a possible Russian invasion and would be expected to slow the Russians down for up to 48hrs to enable the rest of NATO to organise.
In 2024 the entire size of the British Army is 74,000....that includes those still in training, those about to leave, injured, Clerks, engineers, mechanics, drivers, medics , tankers and infantry.

Regarding increasing a land army in the UK, I’d like to know what demographic would be the ones most likely to be taken on, voluntarily or otherwise. My concern is it would be the British young men and women and not the 100s of 1000s of illegal migrants we have let in and of whom many are anti British. Thus putting the UKs population at an even more heightened risk than is the case already.
The whole 'conscription' thing was a complete red herring, thrown in by Sunak to dodge some flak elsewhere. It's the worst idea ever, and has absolutely no redeeming features. Moreover the PM and his 2IC didn't even agree on what the idea was, and jumped between conscription (involuntary calling up into military service), a much smaller 'Dad's Army' to support essential services and some sort of community service. No funding details, nothing!

Unfortunately, instead of the opposition recognising these truths or even attempting logical, intellectual debate they prefer to dismiss him as “far right”! So when at last we do arrive back home we are now tied out both physically and mentally. But for democracy to work properly we need to know what is happening out there in the real world. Just what the score is! And if we only get our answers through the mainstream-legacy-media then the answers we are get may not correspond to reality. So some time has to be spent on validation, on authentication, on doing one’s own research, that a truly intelligent exercise of franchise requires. Unfortunately, most can’t be bothered and that can lead to tragedy. Being tardy in 1933 led on to Stalingrad in 1943 for instance. This is called the “Thucydides Trap” and it might be well to avoid that lethal trap!”
