My Jet Hot coating has worked on some modified cast iron manifolds quite well, going on year 5 on a daily. Regardless, I still have down pipes and now headers on a new build, so would be very interested in something like this.
Yes! I have seen a video where a guy made that in his workshop. I looked into it but couldn't really figure out a way to apply it to automotive uses very well.

Yes I use that stuff a lot for heat protection, love it! It would work great around header wrap but I think the aesthetics might not be a strong selling point.
Hey dude very cool idea. If it is possible make it so it doesn’t suck up oil. With the current stuff any oil spill and you can throw it away.
