Yes, Republic does know. She’s their No. 1 priority with a fantastic team. They are respecting her family’s wishes to let her finish school as a kid. We really appreciate their willingness to honor her parents’ request.

There is no doubt that Republic knows very well who and what Angelina is. When your record exec is a grammy winner and plays and arranges on the songs like this one or Suspicious Minds as he does, it does bode well. And it will be a while, but if you do her complete performances and all of the clips at Fanclub Mosarz you will be one of us old dog types too!

"Mesmerizing" is entirely appropriate, Daz. I compare her voice to that of the Sirens from Greek mythology. Their voices enchanted and hypnotized sailors who then crashed their ships onto the rocky shores. When Angelina opens her mouth, we too are hypnotized by her voice, and it is not until the song ends that Angelina releases us from her magical spell.

All I Ask has more gravitas and her singing is mesmerizing and showcases her beautiful tone and elegance in singing. Republic Records needs songwriters that can write both music and lyrics that fit her. Not just pop but deep soulful music and lyrics in the style of Adele and other greats. I have always called her a chanteuse because she is our day's best female crooner. 😊
I think that Republic Records have had plenty of time to plan with Angelina what the new album should be. Most of the songs are probably already written for it.
A.J. has stated before in various interviews that she has written hundreds of songs songs since she was very young and I am sure there will be mostly new originals on her album, but i would love to see a complete new version of somethings got a hold on me , i think it would go thru the roof with her voice now even more than when she first performed it .
I feel a genuine plea in there as well as a huge amount of compassion. Never mind the gorgeous tone and personal ornamentation. Yes, she's done "Someone Like You." Great reaction Daz. This one broke record on it's quickness of coming out and how well it was put together. For starters I love the part where Grandma Mery laid her head on Angelina's shoulder and then the music started. That was a sweet moment and it set the tone for me. Then Angelina vocally out performed the song with such grace. I loved it.
I already watched this one with amazement and loved the cover, it has just been made even more incredible knowing she done it so quickly after Adele released it. A true talent.

When you first begin listening you hear raw emotion and beautiful singing but as you listen to more reactors talk you realize how incredibly skilled she is. Honestly it is shocking how much a brilliant artist she is. If you want that simple live Angelina she was a cover of Adele's Million Years accompanied by guitarist Ivan Mendes. Just watching his reaction to her even though the song is so new to her she reads the lyrics.
She has so much stuff, it's literally difficult for even super fans to have watched all of it. Example, I listened to a version of "Feeling Good' i wasn't aware of yet earlier today. Daz, let me put it this way.. You my friend, are an Angel. FYI my wife, prefers All I ask as well. I'm a toss up between the two, or more so depending on my mood.
I think mood plays a big part in choosing a preferred song but I am amazed too. Everytime I release a new reaction video to Angelina I get at least half a dozen requests of songs I didnt even know she sang. I got so many Angelina videos to react to but I am not complaining. I guess I need to find some wings :)
Rob Christie is the pianist here and he is Republic Records. He has been with her since she signed and is in most of her performances since then (she signed during her 14th year). I think their commitment to her is pretty substantial. I'm totally enjoying your reactions to her (as well as reactions to other talents that have been recommended to you).

I think Angelina’s writing skills are very good and insightful. Adele’s songs are mostly about failed love affairs so are much more commercial. I hope AJ never has to write such a song.
I have to agree with @Ron Jones on this one. I really hope she doesnt write songs like Adele because thats the reason why I dont listen to much Adele. She is super talented with an incredible voice but she is very doom and gloom a lot of the time.

She is so amazing. Yes exactly, Republic, with all their savvy of the business, may well not really understand her potential., though honestly, I really hope she doesn't allow herself to become too Americanized at this formative time in her life. I wont lie I prefer this version over Adele's and considering she done it a week after Adele released it is incredible. I do like the song Loving You so more than happy to add it to the list and react to it :)

It's great to hear you have become a real fan Daz. She has held my attention for over three years now, listening to more of her music than any other artist all this time. I've never known anything like it! We all have our personal favorites. She doesn't make it easy to narrow them down! The good thing, as I'm sure you already appreciate, is that the vast majority of her performances are surprisingly good; they just keep on coming! And that applies to her performances at any age. It is very hard not to become a fan when everything I watch just blows me away. Also the fact that I am a lover of older music and she sings a lot of them. I think I know what concert you are referring too and I will have a lot of them up very soon along with plenty more Angelina but yes, I am pacing myself and not trying to rush through :)
@@Dazza010 , it's interesting that you mentioned Adele's song "Rolling in the Deep." Angelina actually did this one at the "ripe old age" of SIX (first grade!) in her school's music recording studio! You should react to it! You will be unbelieving at what comes out of that little girl's lungs and mouth! She also did Sir Tom Jones' "I Who Have Nothing" in that same school studio that same year, and it's also amazing!

I was looking for your feedback from a reactor standpoint on the support comment we have created to use for all reactors. The major message is that support is not supposed to be a chore, but is important in creating fan loyalty. And of course it helps the artists. Did that come across clearly or could something be stated better? I haven't mentioned it before, but in addition to being a fan of aspiring artists, I also have spent my career as a marketing specialist. The goal is to educate reaction channels to maximize their potential by benefiting those they feature, and pleasing the fans. I have heard the expression but only from American TV and not so much here in the UK. I have no problems admitting that I have become a fan of Angelina Jordan. When you can watch an artist and each and every time she opens her mouth you are just shocked you know that artist is someone worth following. I love that most of her songs are from an era of music that I prefer but also with the newer ones like this she chooses to still sound unique as opposed to just trying to blend in with the rest.

First of all its "One of my all times favourites" so now that is out of the way let me say you was absolutely correct and not only did I carry on watching her stuff but I actually became a fan. There have been so many performances since Suspicious Minds that have just blown me away and apart from that one song we dont mention she has never disappointed. I still have so much to get through to catch up and by the time I do she will probably have released a whole lot more so I am happy. I generally prefer Angelina singing jazz and blues but must admit that this is a very good pop song cover from her. Rihanna's "Stay" and Adele's "A Million Years Ago" are also extremely good pop song covers from her. The "Stay" is much better than the original one. She can sing almost anything if she just wants to.

Adele is great, but she's a non-jazz singer and when it comes to heartfelt ballads a true jazz specialist like Angelina with unique attributes cannot be matched by any other singer I've heard and especially not a non jazz singer. Because Angelina is also a 'vocal chameleon', she can emulate the vocals of Adele easily, as well as many other A-List artists, but what truly separates her from other singers is the fact that she is able to incorporate the 'breathy', 'whisper-like' inflections she learned from Billie Holiday and Billie could penetrate with human emotional output that was beyond that of any singer when it comes to singing a heartfelt ballad. Angelina also includes the 'slurring' and mid sentence 'key' changes she learned from Amy Winehouse. There is no other singer who can make a single song sound as if 4 superstars are integrated into it, because of the intricate complexity involved. Vocal expert analyzer Andreas Grussl made a comparison video of Adele and Angelina doing this song titled 'Is This Better Than Adele?' He breaks down every section of the song and you can hear why he believes Angelina's rendition is superior. He also shows how Angelina actually 'out belts' Adele in the power section of the song and this is beyond amazing when you realize her lungs haven't as yet reached their full adult potential and won't for about 8 more years when she's 25.

Their voices enchanted and hypnotized sailors who then crashed their ships onto the rocky shores. When Angelina opens her mouth, we too are hypnotized by her voice, and it is not until the song ends that Angelina releases us from her magical spell.

All I Ask has more gravitas and her singing is mesmerizing and showcases her beautiful tone and elegance in singing. Republic Records needs songwriters that can write both music and lyrics that fit her. Not just pop but deep soulful music and lyrics in the style of Adele and other greats. I have always called her a chanteuse because she is our day's best female crooner. 😊
I think that Republic Records have had plenty of time to plan with Angelina what the new album should be. Most of the songs are probably already written for it.
A.J. has stated before in various interviews that she has written hundreds of songs songs since she was very young and I am sure there will be mostly new originals on her album, but i would love to see a complete new version of somethings got a hold on me , i think it would go thru the roof with her voice now even more than when she first performed it .
I feel a genuine plea in there as well as a huge amount of compassion. Never mind the gorgeous tone and personal ornamentation. Yes, she's done "Someone Like You." Great reaction Daz. This one broke record on it's quickness of coming out and how well it was put together. For starters I love the part where Grandma Mery laid her head on Angelina's shoulder and then the music started. That was a sweet moment and it set the tone for me. Then Angelina vocally out performed the song with such grace. I loved it.
I already watched this one with amazement and loved the cover, it has just been made even more incredible knowing she done it so quickly after Adele released it. A true talent.

When you first begin listening you hear raw emotion and beautiful singing but as you listen to more reactors talk you realize how incredibly skilled she is. Honestly it is shocking how much a brilliant artist she is. If you want that simple live Angelina she was a cover of Adele's Million Years accompanied by guitarist Ivan Mendes. Just watching his reaction to her even though the song is so new to her she reads the lyrics.

I think Angelina’s writing skills are very good and insightful. Adele’s songs are mostly about failed love affairs so are much more commercial. I hope AJ never has to write such a song.

It's great to hear you have become a real fan Daz. She has held my attention for over three years now, listening to more of her music than any other artist all this time. I've never known anything like it! We all have our personal favorites. She doesn't make it easy to narrow them down! The good thing, as I'm sure you already appreciate, is that the vast majority of her performances are surprisingly good; they just keep on coming! And that applies to her performances at any age. It is very hard not to become a fan when everything I watch just blows me away. Also the fact that I am a lover of older music and she sings a lot of them. You should react to it! You will be unbelieving at what comes out of that little girl's lungs and mouth! She also did Sir Tom Jones' "I Who Have Nothing" in that same school studio that same year, and it's also amazing!

I have heard the expression but only from American TV and not so much here in the UK. I have no problems admitting that I have become a fan of Angelina Jordan. When you can watch an artist and each and every time she opens her mouth you are just shocked you know that artist is someone worth following. I love that most of her songs are from an era of music that I prefer but also with the newer ones like this she chooses to still sound unique as opposed to just trying to blend in with the rest.

I generally prefer Angelina singing jazz and blues but must admit that this is a very good pop song cover from her. Rihanna's "Stay" and Adele's "A Million Years Ago" are also extremely good pop song covers from her. The "Stay" is much better than the original one. She can sing almost anything if she just wants to.
I reacted to Stay ( ua-cam.com/video/0JEG5SSNncE/v-deo.html ) a while back and even I preferred that over the Rihanna version but Million Years Ago is one of the next covers I have lined up for Angelina. It has been mentioned quite a bit :)

Adele is great, but she's a non-jazz singer and when it comes to heartfelt ballads
a true jazz specialist like Angelina with unique attributes cannot be matched by
any other singer I've heard and especially not a non jazz singer. Because Angelina
is also a 'vocal chameleon', she can emulate the vocals of Adele easily, as well as
many other A-List artists, but what truly separates her from other singers is the fact
that she is able to incorporate the 'breathy', 'whisper-like' inflections she learned from
Billie Holiday and Billie could penetrate with human emotional output that was beyond
that of any singer when it comes to singing a heartfelt ballad. Angelina also includes the
'slurring' and mid sentence 'key' changes she learned from Amy Winehouse. There is no
other singer who can make a single song sound as if 4 superstars are integrated into it,
because of the intricate complexity involved. Vocal expert analyzer Andreas Grussl made
a comparison video of Adele and Angelina doing this song titled 'Is This Better Than Adele?'

Daz, you're in denial. You are an Angel but first you have to admit it. Talk it out; we're here for you. There's no cure but, as many of us have found, acceptance is the first step in managing the condition. It's pretty sad because the artists he likes are fine singers, but he can't stand the fact many of us prefer Angelina and marvel at her vocal ability and skill.
