The first clue will be given to you at the beginning if the quiz and followed by each successive clue after every 10 questions. The answer to the ponderous puzzle will be revealed at the end of the quiz. How many clues will it take you to work out the ponderous puzzle ?

I really enjoy the ponderous puzzle. It took me all the way to the last clue to even venture a guess but I got it! I appreciate the challenges and would probably do better if I paused the video.

Our 4 yr old loves these quizzes. He insists on yelling “CLUE NUMBER 1..2.. !!!” Which makes it difficult to hear your ponder questions. 😂 think I still managed to get this one!
As for the ponderous puzzle, with the first clue I thought it might be Mary Shelly. Only with the second clue did I guess Emily Brontë and her masterpiece Wuthering Heights. As for the rest of the quiz, I didn't do too badly. As always, I have learned a great deal from following your channel. Thank you. ❤
I didn't get it until the last clue. And yeah, I prefer quizzes that challenge me as opposed to the no brainers.

It was the description of the novel --- its main Gothic themes and historical concepts --- that made me focus on Emily Brontë. I knew she had only written one novel, so the initial hint helped. But I didn't realize that she had used the pseudonym Ellis Bell. As we well know, back then female writers often used male pen names. I really get a lot out of these quizzes.
