Wow 1982, that was very futuristic and advanced for it's time! It was also the year the UK went to war in the Falklands. It was also the year the Sinclair Spectrum came out, one of the more popular 8 bit gaming home computers in the UK at least. It was also the year I left school and started my first job, flush with cash (£40 a week) I bought my first motorbike a suzuki er50 and got myself the Sinclair spectrum with 16k of built in RAM I quickly found I needed the 48k RAMPAK to play the better games such as The Hobbit.😊 Great little camera 📷 takes a good photo when it nails the focus, I guess you have to pay attention to the little indicator and the icons to figure out what it's focusing on. My old Pentax is the Zoom 70s a little more advanced with motor wind etc 😊
I love it. Man, that's super sleek for 1982. Nice futuristic looking design. Can't go wrong with black and a few hints of red. It's my favourite colourway. That probably comes from me being hooked on knight Rider as a kid, lol. I actually just bought another pair of the nike air jordan 6 black and infrared colourway yesterday. Dopest looking shoe of all time, in my not so humble opinion, lol. Great find, buddy.🙌
@@TheRetroManRandySavage Hello sir, thanks for your comments. It’s a solid little unit that’s for sure. Those trainers sound great. I’ll look out for your posts. 😀😀
@@vintagevantics Hey. Yes, I was quite surprised by how sharp the pictures were and I wasn’t really trying very hard at all. Cool, that you have the date version. Whats the date range out of curiosity? Thanks for watching.
Overall, how much do you trust the autofocus? I can see some of the failures took place in darker locations or were too close to the subject. But, knowing these things can you rely on it?
@@Lawman212 on the occasions when the auto focus failed, I was either moving a bit too much or had stepped to close to the subject. I think there were also occasions when I failed to pay attention to the focus guide inside the viewfinder, so there’s also that. For the majority of the rest, they came out real well.

It’s a very capable camera isn’t it! I have the auto rewind and quartz date version and love the looks and the pics are stunning. Nice shots!
