Hi Steve, yes this is a fantastic wood indeed. I've filmed each wood individually including all three as a longer hike. I've created a route whereby covering all three woods and a part of the golf course on the other side of the Lido which made up approximately 10 miles 😊 Nice to have such beautiful woods locally. Thanks for watching!
@@ShameerShahProject There are quite a few walks in Hillingdon and Chilterns I see you've covered a lot. On the Outside of Bayhurst is a large space where the pylons run, which sides with a walk to Harefield which itself has great trails. Also enjoy similar Oxhey Woods and also up in Latimer which has stunning views of River Chess if you don't know already
@@steved1593 Thanks for this information Steve. Yes, I've covered hikes in quite a few of these beautiful places. Oxhey Woods is lovely indeed. Yes, I've noticed the pylons near Bayhurst but never walked that trail, I will have to schedule that some time :) Latimer does sound lovely, I know of it, but never walked that area although I've been there a few times. Oh there's so much to discover :) Once again, thank you for being on my channel and for your support. By the way, a new video will be live this morning ;)
@@ShameerShahProject it was alright, thing is your isolated from all your friends, but now look back on it. It was a very beautiful place to live but at night it takes on a very sinister atmosphere
My favorite of the three woods in the area (Bayhurst, Mad Bess, and around the Lido).

I lived at mad bess cottage for 15 years through the 80s and 90s. Did you live in a local area maybe I knew you?
I used to walk here with my grandparents.
Have you visited Stockgrove Park? Part of it is of special scientific interest because of the plants.
Oh wow, it’s an amazing place. So much to explore. Do you still visit?
I can’t say I have visited Stockgrove. Unless I’ve been and not known I was there.
@@ShameerShahProject I live in yorkshire now so its a bit out of my way.
It’s lovely around there too. Hope you’re still getting some good walks!
I lived in my best cottage for 13 years, all through my childhood
Back in the 80s is a 90s
Wow that must have been a fun childhood for sure 👌
Where are you now?
