I hadn't seen this coming, I had no idea what to expect, but this was so strangely captivating. I would love to see more narrative things if you want to make them! The way that your commentary on silly challenge runs would on occasion turn to the philosophical, the soulful, or the genuinely heartfelt and so earnestly *kind* in your addresses to the viewers... that's a big part of why you're one of my favorite UA-camrs, even though I only relatively recently found your channel. Stuff like this where things are more in that serious narrative mode, with the silly videogame humor the occasional incongruent exception, that is a very lovely thought. And more than anything, really, I want you to make the stuff that you want to make; you deserve to be able to.
Man, what in the nine circles is this? I had a great time, and I’d love for more of this, even if it doesn’t fit in the youtube meta.

I love this. The writing in your videos has always set you apart, but this is next level.
I do hope youre alright like the rest, but speaking of putting away shopping carts, on Monday I had a guy that wanted to fight me in a parking lot because i gave him a "Really dude?" kind of look when he didched his cart next to his car. He even looked around to see if anyone was looking before he did it then acted like I was the jerk for catching him doing it. If anyone wants to hear how much crazier it got ill share. It was absurd.
I'm doing well, but I do find it funny in a tragic sense that I had a similar experience with someone who refused to wash their hands after using a public restroom. They went straight from being gross to threatening violence.
@SpuddyCube What the hell. I will never understand the leap to violence in such mundane situations. Some folks have no concept of taking others into account. Psycho/sociopaths is one thing, but I mean just vast quantities of "regular" people. The guy that I mentioned said something like, "Why should I have to accommodate you?" Dude, it's not my accommodation, it's common decency.
Honestly I do like your story telling honestly been some of the better parts of your challenge runs.
Admittedly did I expect this to be some kind of challenge run at first not just a great story so maybe make that clearer in the future?
ive always enjoyed the creative touch youve added to all of your videos, the little bit of poetry you do always made me feel something. this was amazing and made me feel more emotions than i was expecting
spuddy.. dude. this had better story telling, depth and world building then most modern cinema. I was captivated and you did it in 24 minutes.. you have such a good way with words and never fail to impress.

Definitely keep it up, contrary to what others have said i feel like this is a normal one of your videos. Part of what brings me to your challenge runs is the story telling and existentialism you seem to always bring to the piece. This is nothing new this is merely an evolution of what you already create, a good one for sure, but an evolution none the less
it was really an incredible and unexpected experience, I really hope you keep doing more things like this one because there is nothing like it

I just saw this a month later (I've watched many of your challenge runs and kind of expected existential dread.) Seems like the algorithm didn't appreciate it. I did, for the record. It reminds me of the kind of content that youtube and such were made for years ago before the mass commercialization and clickbait titles and all. The outro with simspuddy writing it in game was a grand finale.
Maybe doing it in roblox instead of the sims would have pleased the number crunching machine god we're all beholden to.

Possibly some day. I'm not sure what I'd do exactly, but it seems like it could be fun. I think the biggest issue would be just how long things could take with the game's overall content.
@@SpuddyCube true dat, blind playthrough of terraria would be months of editing unless you cut it down and run hollow knight background music over it and just do commentary.
Terraria youtubers often either have or are really good editors.
