Life long Michigander here ,sorry your stay was so short.michigan has lots to offer ,many state parks right on the Great Lakes with amazing beaches .the straits state park sits right over the bridge with nice views of the bridge at night.pictured rocks in Munising is beautiful with many waterfalls in the area ,I could go on and on but I won’t ,thanks for the nice video

The UP is so beautiful and the freighters are a fun bonus 😉 Before a Michigander jumps your case on the proper pronunciation… it’s “Mackinaw” vs “Macki-knack.” The UP was settled primarily by the French hence the spelling with a “c” on the end of the word. The lower peninsula was settled by the British therefore the “w” on the end of the name. But they’re both pronounced the same. Looking forward to the next update!

Great video this week, it’s so cool to watch the lake freighter pass through the locks. BTW - Great looking drone vest! I now need to get one as I just passed my 107 exam.

Loved this video. We take our airstream to Michigan every year. We use Hartwick Pines as a base and from there you have so many options to hike/visit within 50 mile radius. We also like The Wilderness State Park in Mackinaw City just near the bridge. On the east side of the state there is Rogers City. Ludington State Park is definitely a favorite. So, so many great places. Lots and lots of lighthouses to check out. You definitely need to come back and explore the state.

Bumped into you guys at the international in Tennessee. It was so hot that we left on Thursday. My wife and I headed north looking for cooler temperatures. We ended at the Soo at Brimley State park.

Honestly, if you’re going to make money from your channel, learn how to pronounce things correctly. And for heaven’s sake do not post anymore drunken videos! It’s mot cute or endearing to hear slurred words, droopy eyelids, and wobbly camerawork. You have such disdain for rude campers, little patience for people who are less than courteous in general. I don’t want to see you hammered! By the way, we’ve watched you and subscribe (on husband’s ID), so I’m not just trolling you.
Hi Tara. First, thanks for watching. A couple things. Yes, I did get the pronunciation of the bridge wrong and it does bum me out. I think I got the island correct but it is an honest mistake. We actually did work on the pronunciation of pasty by watching the UA-cam channel "Food Trippin with Molly" - she's from the UP. We tried... Your point about filming after wine is something we try and consider. I guess we missed the mark though we do enjoy our beer and wine at the campground. I hope you'll continue to follow our adventures. We certainly have fun making them...
