You say his muscles look fake. I say you need to look at a fitness magazine. Mike O'Hearn had legs like that. Have you seen pics or the trailer for "World's Finest"? His still photos from that really show off his legs. This toy looks like his body.
This was a very honest review. The head to neck attachment is a bit off putting. Also, I'm glad you made a reference to the torso popping out. That and the fact that there is a clear separation between the foot and leg is a negative for me. Thanks for this review. Excellent work!
Thank you very much, and especially for checking out the video! I'm a huge Superman fan, so it was difficult to be so disappointed. If a company wants to break out into this world, they have to recognize the competition and level of quality it demands. - that the FANS demand.
I just got mine yesterday. I love it. I dont have a problem at all with this figure. It's an action figure lol. Better than what I grew up with as far as action figures. They got the S on the cape wrong..should be all yellow, and the boots..the cutaway is too narrow. I may have to take my exacto knife and trim them. This figure is better than the knockoff I saw a review of. Such as the belt having belt loops in the back, and the head not being too big. So this figure is not bad at all. And I paid a decent price for it. I'd buy another and would suggest a Beast kingdom Superman. I also like the cape of the original better..but again NOTHING wrong with this figure. Maybe I'm not as picky as other collectors lol.
I'm glad you're enjoying yours! Sitting on display, I do enjoy the visual. I just felt disappointment with the joints on mine a bit. There's definitely a lot of promise with this company, and I look forward to seeing the evolution of quality. A big personal favorite of this collecting world is that one's preference may not be the next person's, but there's something for everyone! Thank you for checking us out!
Hey this was a great review. I know this figure has some massive issues, but Superman is my favorite so I went for this guy anyway. I do have the new Mezco one on preorder and I am patiently waiting for that one to come out. I am hoping that will be my go to 12th scale Superman. I also jave the Mezco Christopher Reeves Superman and thats an awesome figure.
That Mezco one is one I am looking forward to as well, as I can't easily get the Christopher Reeves version - very cool that you did! Also being a big fan, I'm glad I picked this one up, but I think this company has a long way to go, so recommending it proves difficult. I do look forward to hopefully seeing the quality progress over time.
One of the red eye laser effects arrived broken on mine, no big deal though, obviously happened in the post. However, the centre chest ball joint arrived disjointed. Really hard to get it to pop back in and really easy to pop back out. I've read that it's an issue other people have had. So be cautious of that.
One would hope that the packaging and quality of the figure would prevent such an easy break. I noticed that the center chest was very easily loosened/popped. Disappointing to learn that others are experiencing the same. I always hope that it's isolated. Thank you for sharing your experience!
@@jkcollects I've heard it's common with this and the black suit release also. It literally pops out every time I moved it. I bought some Batman V Superman Beast Kingdom figures in 2016, they have improved since then, but I'm always a little disappointed. I picked up the Dark Knight Returns double pack at the same time as this one and I was pretty impressed with that one. I also have the Batman 89' figures in pre-order, but doubt I'll buy any more Best Kingdom after those.
Yeah, I’m glad that I got mine for $59.99 on a sale. I haven’t open the shipping box yet since after watching a few unboxing videos my excitement for the figure went down to zero… The Mezco’s Christopher Reeve action figure is still #1 for me.
I'm glad you got it on such a good sale, too! I can't honestly justify what the cost was for, when one could - in many aspects - have a better quality Superman through a good McFarlane figure and add the cloth goods. I hope you do enjoy it as a display, at least. 🦸🏻
@@robertonline6543 that too is something that bothers me a little. I have fabric paint and will probably fix that. And drop it off his back a bit. Good call. I haven't heard that mentioned at all.
LOVE YOUR SUPERMAN ACTION FIGURES COLLECTION!
Mr Kent! I'm a huge fan! Thanks for checking us out! ;)

Who doesn’t love truth justice and the American way
Lex Luthor, General Zod, Bizarro, Metallo, Parasite, Doomsday, quite a lot of them.

Like to swap the head and put Chris reeve
Now there's a great idea. Always an appropriate head swap!
@@jkcollects I just wish the cape had the pure yellow...guess I like the classic.
