- We've spent the past 6 weeks with our van broken down in Darwin. It's been a roller-coaster of emotions, I hope you enjoy coming along for the ride. 😅

Sunsets in Darwin are just amazing, I lived there for 4 years during my Military time and I wish there were the jobs there that are available elsewhere because despite the humidity, I'd move back in a heartbeat.
Oh wow! I couldn’t imagine living there during the summer months but it would be cool to experience ☺️
Cool it’s amazing what you can do when you need to, you just proved it , that’s team work, I’m going to call you guys the A Team 👍. God bless.
I love our brand new engine 😊🤞🏼
Loved the video am a avid vw and kombi traveller for many years, they will give you both some incredible memories, they all have special qualities enjoy this special time 😊
Aw nice, do you have your own VW(s)? Even through the hard times we have to admit we love our old girl! Thanks for watching. 😊
That carb setup sounds sweet 😎, glad you got her going again
She's officially a tank 😂 thanks for watching!!
You documented that so well! Beautiful to watch, but what a tough time! Such resilience, and the new engine looks stunning! So many similarities with us! We were stuck in Darwin this time last year for weeks, and our engine rebuild went from a 4l to a V6 haha, so we know all about loud obnoxious engines hahah! So good to see you back on the road though 🥰
Oh wow no way! I guess a lot of cars must struggle up here in the heat. Thanks for watching & I hope you are enjoying your adventures. 😊🙌🏼
That sounds like a really tough 6, 8 weeks
Really well done for getting a 50 year old vehicle back on the road
Your partner is very clever mechanically
I'm not so breaking down in Katherine would have been extremely stressful for me
It was a very tough time indeed. We feel very happy to be on the other side of it now! Thanks for watching. ✨
Nooice! 😎 STOC Happy birthday and good luck. Our Vintage vehicles are an amazing puzzle of engineering feats. Don't forget to reach out to thesamba forum if you run into trouble. Refreshing an engine is an amazing experience. Make sure you reinstall all the ground wires, like the one on the transmission too. Great job, it looks fantastic! 😎 STOC
Yes for sure. Oh, that's a great tip - we'll check out the forum! Thanks for watching as always. 😊
Well done guys good to see you back on the road again. This just goes to show that there are still good people in the world willing to help those in need.
Thank you! We are so happy Stella is alive again too. Yes exactly, it's so nice coming across people like these guys. We feel very grateful!
What a wild rollercoaster it has been 🥺 so incredible you guys had so much help from the mechanics. Hope we see you guys very soon 🧡🧡
So wild haha! I can't believe this is how it's all happened. 😅🤍
Great video! What a difficult time you've been through. However, it's a little scary since I'm just about to start my road trip. But in order to even get started, I had to spend so much money and time getting my van repaired. Thoughts of having bought the wrong car and the desperation to deal with it alone don't make it any easier. So good that you at least have each other 😊
What insurance do you have? I'm a RAC member, I don't know if that's enough 😅
Good feeling getting on the tools and hitting the road again!
Exactly!! See you sometime soon 😊
New subscriber here looking forward to following your adventures.
Awesome! Thank you! 😊
❤❤❤❤
Thanks team! 😊
What are you filming with? Nice quality 🎬
Thank you! I film with my Canon R5 and 16-35mm lens 😊
