This is one of the best Black Metal songs of all time... and one of the most underrated
One of my fav. mayhem songs, so unique so atmospheric and so underrated.
This song is a masterpiece. "Ordo" album is so underated. I think its their best album. The vocal performence on that album is out of this world and the best black vocals ever recorded in my opinion.
Ordo Ad Chao, The darkest album in the history of music. i cant believe you playing this Teloch, please play some more song from this album.

@@hellenicgyp5966 that's even made it more obscure and dim, kind of low quality of recording the whole album was one of the important key to made it the way that i described it, good quality and perfect sharp crystal mastering could definitely ruin the whole album, im glad they did it this way, thanks to Blasphemer and Attila

Ordo Ad Chao is unique. Bands copy Deathspell Omega, Darkthrone and Mayhem itself. But not Ordo Ad Chao. Even with Blasphemer in live shows, it seems they avoided playing tracks from the album. In my opinion, Ordo Ad Chao isn't meant to be play live.
" Ordo Ad chao " is simply Blasphemer setting a template , same , say Deathrow achieved with the " Deception ignored " album in the 80s - no other band could ever top that up as far as intricacy and technical proficiency were concerned , within a certain subgenre .
I think that was mostly due to fans not getting the album when it came out. It's definitely more appreciated nowadays
For me, this album has been number one since its release. It is phenomenal. 1. Ordo 2 Daemon 3 DMDS
@@delhidelirium9091 Ordo is certainly innovative and even today stands out from most black metal, but as far as intricacy and technical proficiency go the template was already set, and Ordo ad Chao didn't really top it. There's a reason so much experimental black metal has been ripping off Deathspell Omega for the past 12 years or so.

Late, technical Mayhem inspired very good bands, one of my personal favorites, and very underrated "Dark Fortress" for sure, that dark, ambient and technical style is very present in their releases. I recommend anyone who enjoys good quality, technical/progressive, European Black metal to listen to "venereal dawn", "Ylem" and their latest realease "spectres from the old world", imo very good albums.

I wish they would re-record this record. I get the raw sound is the point, but the music here is so damn good that I hate we don't get a clearer listen to the writing. The band, even in its current line up, is freakishly amazing and Daemon is great return to form. Clearly touring DMDS had a great impact on them.
i wish they would remix this album like Chimera or GDOW (2018 remix). then i would listen to it.
too muddy and desperately trying to sound lo-fi on purpose.
The sound was art by accident, not intentional. That's what makes it special :)
