I belong to Dir , approximately 3 hour travel is form my home to kumrat and Jahaz banda ,but still i am not going to these beautiful places. Its much easier for us to go there . but I don't like traveling more then two hours ...

Kohistan is a district of KPK Province
Abdullah Yousaf kohistan mean land of mountains , there are basically three kohistans, , one you mentioned like district kohistan , others are swat kohistan and last one is Dir kohistan. So kohistan doesn’t necessarily mean district kohistan of KPK.

I am from lower dir so beautiful village but Shilpa is more beautiful then.
Kumrat is discovered recently in North of kpk. Its jungle with very beautiful mountain trains. That's why there are no good hotels there but its best for campers and trackers. Been there last year its very beautiful place.
