    Always thought Charlie had the greatest voice in bluegrass, also an amazing sounding guitar! Sure miss him!!!

    Gloria, His voice was unique, incredible and sweet. We live in WA state but our people came from N Carolina and my cousin had a banjo and we listened to Charlie and the Country Gentlemen all the time since 1969 - especially "Some Old Day". There is a God and a Heaven and a Savior, Jesus Christ. Charlie was a humble man and Doyle Lawson too.

    Beautiful is all I can say, Gloria. I much enjoyed it. As you can probably tell, I have a fondness for this style of gospel music...and gospel in general.

    Charlie said at John's funeral, he was through singing with him yet; well now they can sing together again.

      Bernice Atkins I spent a couple years with his son Randy in Virginia they are both a amazing talent I miss the old life

      @@maryplaidy6814 Charlie was never a part of the Seldom Scene - this cut is from the Scene's Act 4 album...Phil Rosenthal was the lead singer (Duffey on this cut). Charlie & John made some great records as the Country Gentlemen
