I am about to be evicted again...the church was supposed to help me and my adult amputee daughter who is in a wheelchair...they didn't get the rent in on time...too many people in between for approval...so the weekly rent was late, added fees, then we were behind over and over again still no help from the church...because of COVID and late weekly rent and water/sewer bills sent to landlord....which she paid, more fees...we are now llooking at having to leave...moving was SO expensive, downsized after 50 years in our own home, husband died unexpectedly, daughter had an above-the-knee amputation, no insurance, all my income and life insurance went to medical supplies and equipment, 3 years searching for an accessible home, found it, lost all our savings on the move, now it's happening again! Threatening eviction; I don't have the physical strength or money required to move again...find an accessible home, pack and then downsize AGAIN ...lost valuable items when the sump failed during a couple weeks of storms, haven't had a chance to sell downsized stuff which we expected to happen "in the spring" ...we moved to a rural area...don't have family or friends to help. It took 3 years to find this home. The Medicaid benefits have not been paid ...something about COVID related holdups, (transfer from one county to another which requires changing Medicaid districts, new interviews which are not happening...again impacted by COVID, lack of action by government employees,etc. The leadership of the church is changing because the President of this small community is moving (already moved) so there's a lack of urgency and no concerns re: late payments, mysteriously disappeared rent payments from the church(all lay personnel), seemingly lack of interest at this point. Non of these " mistakes" are our fault and yet we are in an tenable situation all around!
So HOW to "stay still" and "give it up to GOD" escapes me! Rents are steadily climbing, my income is "fixed" and increases are miniscule; I fell after the huge ice storms. Broke my front teeth leaving roots in the upper jaw. The expected expensive
restoration process was $11,000 and my family dentist won't attempt it because I was taking Prolia twice a year. It's been over a year since I had the last infusion but still I cannot afford the costs of the extractions and a " temporary partial" Again, the church volunteered to help with that...that's not happening, a retroactive check (since we started applying for SSI and paying me as my daughter's caretaker) just disappeared and the Link card for groceries has zero funds in it and is not being retroactively reimbursed...needs
a new interview to start it up again. Again, reduced staff in the State and Federal offices are being blamed

He will not tell you to sin. I pray he works in your life and shows you hope right now, so you can stand through this process. To me....it sounds like time to leave and let God guide you where to go like he did Abraham. But YOU must pray and ask.

I know the hurt and fear of overwhelming circumstances and having to depend on others. He always brings me to a place of repentance when I thought the situation wasn’t about me in any way and that it was just happening To me. Ask Him what He’s trying to show you through this more than asking for the way out. I needed that reminder tonight.
