I have seen a lot of people post the same. It was brilliantly acted but it was also cruel and sudden! It borders on sadistic! All that build up for no payoff! 10 years of that character and almost all was torture except a few moments of happiness with Jack.
Since many hated the conclusion with Daniel , i wonder if the number of fans that stopped watching was noticeable in the actual viewership numbers(?).

Omfg same here!! Me and a friend both swore off eastenders after that. I've started watching random episodes here and there recently but I'm still salty over this lol (and now Ronnie and Roxy are also dead like wtf!!)
