Like my friend who only played DAO & not DA2, She asked me " Who is this dude!? i totally nvr seen him b4." She only accept DAI as DAO true successor . She likes Hawke though ,such a Nostalgic feeling to see Old familiar faces making cameos/references ,i was giddy with excitement . Lastly, its good that EA doesn't "influence" or affect BW's story-driven narrative & character developments ,i still hate ME3 endings, still do till today =(. Kinda hurts even with extended edition. DAI seems to be step in the right direction, DA4 here WE await
Idk how they took an extra month on making this game and still had a final boss and ending that felt horribly rushed. Maybe Bioware needed a lot more time then just a month and EA was rushing them and only gave them that extra time to come up with something.
***** Finale was missing, but it said there be a patch that will extend it . Ending didn't feel so rush, EA didn't rush. The character development/interactions were awesome

Tatsumi Anime Superhero Fan Just out of curiosity, where did you get this information? If it is true, I find it to be an exceptionally dumb move on Bio wares part to focus their time and efforts on side quests without properly finishing the ending first.
Morrigan reminds me so much of Yennefer from the Witcher saga. Reading the books of the Wiedzmin saga, Yennefer has an attitude and a personality really similar to our Morrigan.
Inquisition Morrigan is a much more agreeable person tbh. She'll effectively give assessment of options available so you so you can measure consequences while still maintaining enough subtle influence to forward her own ulterior motive. Even when her hands are forced, she doesn't put others' safety beneath her goal. Yennefer on the other hand... If finding Ciri and entering the Fade physically is the same thing, Corypheus and Yennefer are no different in that regard. She'll screw everyone over and only let them know when things are irreversible, most of the time she could get away with it because the plot either had someone damage control the outcome of her brutal plan, or that they somehow, against all odds, turns out successful with minimal losses.
Ummm ... just about everyone but the two people you meet/travel with? And even for them, I wouldn't say they are gods ... just insanely powerful mages or spirits/demons, maybe. I honestly doubt there's any REAL deity whatsoever in the whole Dragon Age setting.
Silmarisi we all know the old gods where teviner believes in are real deities. yes they can be slain but they have immense power. We know the elven pantheon existed but we dont know if they were actual gods or just realy powerfull mages. elves were immortal at that time anyway after all. Dwarves dont have gods but paragons so i guess they dont count. the only unproven deity if the one of humans. this so called "maker" which i refuse to believe is real. too many sources say he is fake while only 2 or 3 sources say he is real. (sources which arent the chantry at least)
Macder10 I refuse to acknowledge ancient high dragons as gods, no matter how powerful they are. Elven pantheon are just either powerful elven mages who kept their immortality or spirits. Dwarves, as you've said, worship Paragons and the Stone, but that's kind of like saying you believe in your parents and gravity, so it's not even a question. As for the Maker - he's a shoddy excuse for a deity (much like real-life still believed-in deities) and not even worth mentioning. As far as I'm concerned, he doesn't exist and never did. No matter how much Cassandra and Leliana (and half the internet) argue with me about that.
Silmarisi Well we can't know for sure that Maker really doesn't exist or existed. Yes Corypheus and few demons claimed that he does not but i am not going to trust them. Also if you listen to Solas banter you will know that he is not against Maker idea. But of course you can be right and in some future games we will find out that he doesn't exist. Who knows ? Until then i would tag The Maker as possible character.
To be fair. Morrigan does not have the advantage of having actually lived through these events and is essentially doing what any other historian is doing, piecing together the past with the fragments that are left. Had Solas or some other witness given first hand accounts this would be a different story.
You know, I was so ready for Morrigan to be the antagonist of this game. back when it was announced. "Well, well, what have we here?" - Please let me join you, I'll burn the templars, mages, darkspawn, qunari, whoever, pls pls pls Morrigan! "Absolutely NOT, I'd sooner late Alistair join my cause" T.T
00:42-00:43: I love how she sounded so like her mother Flemeth there almost saying that: "Pray tell, what meaning does our Elven "Expert" sense lurking behind this?"
i believe Mythakl(not flemeth but mythal the spirit herself) to be Andraste, and Fenharel/dread wolf to be Andrastes Mabari..it makes more sense if you think of teh elvhen gods as very powerful beings, and over time reawaken after long slumbers, see teh state of the world and change it with but new names
Enzo Matrix Elven gods werent really gods, they were just powerful elves that were leaders ( if you count gods as powerful immortal things then they are gods indeed) and dread wolf is not a god of trickery he is the god of rebellion.Since elven gods were above their inferior servants and other elves were forced to serve them dread wolf did not liked this as he wanted freedom. So he locked other elven gods (except for mythal whom was murdered long before dread wolf locked elven gods) into some sort of place (possibly black city) and this made to take an ancient slumber. When he woke up he realized when humans attacked there werent any powerful elves to protect other elves and thus they were enslaved.Since he had a long slumber he lost his power. And thus he couldnt free other elven gods.So he gave corpheus that orb and waited for him to open a gate into to the fade so he could release his friends
***** i realize this(mostly) but think, the Elvhen 'gods' such as Mythal and Fen'Harel are very okld maybe even as old as the world, every few thousand years coming back to the mortal world...and it was suggested in game that at one point perhaps the 'old gods' of tevinter aka archdemon dragons(by Solas himself mind you) that they might merely have been 'pets' or something of the other powerful beings that were revered as gods
Do you know the dialogue between cole and Solas?Cole says that he did for the people (elf means people in elvish) and he should not regret what he has done.
I can´t help but wonder if Solas already knows who Morrigan was before they met because of his connection to her mother, I half expected him to snap something like "how can you not know more about elven culture when your mother is who she is or what this statue means?!"
Plot hole: The one who drank from the Well of Sorrows would be granted wisdom and knowledge that has passed down form ages. If that is the case, how come no one knew what Fen'Harel looked like, or that he's been under their noses the whole time?
The well can give knowledge. But it isnt obligated to reveal everything. I suspect that whatever the well is or is connected to mythal would not betray Solas's identity anyways. Solad is one of their own and the well and Mythal have been playing a long game for a very long time indeed. The Well is beyond humans or any modern elves
It’s funny how Morrigan is so wise and informed but completely slips up on this one. Wasn’t the whole point as of why Fen’ Harel sealed the old gods in the fade was cause they murdered Mythal and the two of them were close. So having The dread wolf set in Mythal makes perfect sense.
lets break it down. the current elves are mortal, the ancient elves are immortal. How did the elves lose there immortality? That Sorrow guy at the temple of mythal. referred to the current elves as "shadows" and that they were not "his people". What did he mean? also the elves in the temple only "wake" when they are needed to protect the temple. could they still be immortal (can't die of old age). the fact that Fen'harel exists, means that the elven lore is more correct then the Chantry. But Coryphaeus existence means that there was in fact a "golden city" in the Fad. but the seat was empty....... Solas (Fen'harel) stated that the ancient elves had a city in the clouds, halem'sharal (cant spell).........regardlas there is more to this then it seems....and im loven it
elves loosing their immortality its explained in DA Origins..it had something to do with their interactions with humans...cant remember what exactly.and that there still could be immortal elves but are very very rare..
uh no, they do say that in DA Origins but thats what most people assume is true. Solas explains in the end of Trespasser that by creating the veil and separating the fade from the "real world" he took away the elves' immortality
Solas just reminds me of the Steve Urkel of the DAverse. He keeps doing horrible things that hurt countless people and giving the equivalent response of, "Did I do thaaaat?" His excuse over and over is basically, "Well, I thought it would go differently." I kind of want to read the book, so I can find out whether he's as vacuous and offensive as he seemed in DA:I, but I also feel like I may not be able to stomach a whole collection of stories about him.
In defense of Morrigan: she does not know the truth AND Solas is always beating around the bush. Not giving a proper answer. So in Morrigans POV I would also assume, he just likes to talk back.
Then you find who Solas is, just watch past her explanation of the end, with the choices you made, you will see 2 characters from the game, obvious fluff for whats to come, I chose not to spoil it for those who haven't finished
Rivka Olstein It's where the first riddle is, before you enter the first door and see Samson/Calpernia escaping. Take archway on the left side of the balcony.
A bit hard to parse history from legend when a good 90% of the former was annihilated and everyone left is hellbent on removing everything that doesn't fit with the latter.
Lol 😂 Morrigan calling him out. Is not that he would “know better about himself” that she would worry about if she knew, but how he wishes to be seen is what’s important. Whose to say these are not just more lies. Wouldn’t be like he hasn’t done it before.
Solas for the most part, is ironically very truthful and honest. He doesnt directly lie except for once instance at the Palace during wicked eyes and wicked hearts. His end goal is for his people to be free and have their world back. Noboe goals and if the situation was reversed humans would be on the same path
So many people are saying it, but I really want to add to the chorus, I miss Morrigans' snide ass banter, I hope her and the Warden get a lil' role in the next game
And once again, Solas acts bitchy and lectures people on how much more he knows than they do, while lying about who he is. I get tired of all the Solas fan girls that want to paint him as this altruistic, open minded, guardian of the past; when none of that is even close to the truth. He was my least favorite companion in DA:I, even considering Iron Bull's actions in DA:I: Trespasser.

Even if Corypheus was kinda predictable to those who played DA2 legacy, rest of the community little baffled at the revelation of the Magister's identity, even the novels./books didn't mention him.
Are you serious how can you possibly believe the ending wasn't rushed the final boss will back himself off a cliff and die because all he dose is run away from you, There is no lead up to confronting him Its just bamm the sky turns green so you teleport to the boss room. and I'm sorry but except for a couple parts for some characters I found them all bland as hell
***** i know that,i alry told you BW didn't have sufficient time to finish last mission ,they patch the final mission with more content soon. Bland chars? DA2 had those, this is 2nd most memorable cast after DAO
Tatsumi Anime Superhero Fan
Just out of curiosity, where did you get this information? If it is true, I find it to be an exceptionally dumb move on Bio wares part to focus their time and efforts on side quests without properly finishing the ending first.
this comment is more amusing when the inquisitor is romancing solas :P
Oh? When I was romancing him, I got exactly the same scene, I have it here: ua-cam.com/video/ZRsHi7srNU0/v-deo.html What was different in yours?
FluffyNinjaLlama ah i didn't mean it changed, just it felt funnier when you use the comment when you're romancing him
Claire Dé Lune Ah ok, I misunderstood, and I agree, it is funnier :)
+FluffyNinjaLlama Indeed it's funny, especially after the last dlc *Still sobbing*
Morrigan reminds me so much of Yennefer from the Witcher saga. Reading the books of the Wiedzmin saga, Yennefer has an attitude and a personality really similar to our Morrigan.
Il_Gramo94 not really though Imo
Yennefer personality is a mixed of cassandra and morrigan
lol no
Inquisition Morrigan is a much more agreeable person tbh.
You know everything about the Dread Wolf, don't you, _Solas._
IRONY. IRONIES EVERYWHERE.
Seeing this now with the way Veilguard goes/ends is pretty funny lol. Classic old fen harel and mythal right here
"Seven years ago", Christ. And still years out from the next game.
is there anyone in this game who is not a god or carrying the soul of one.
Ummm ... just about everyone but the two people you meet/travel with?
Who knows ? Until then i would tag The Maker as possible character.
darthportus Guess we'll just have to wait. But I'd sooner trust demons about that than the Chantry.
To be fair. Morrigan does not have the advantage of having actually lived through these events and is essentially doing what any other historian is doing, piecing together the past with the fragments that are left. Had Solas or some other witness given first hand accounts this would be a different story.
ahh Morrigan Im glad they brought her back for DAI. :D
You know, I was so ready for Morrigan to be the antagonist of this game. back when it was announced.
"Well, well, what have we here?"
- Please let me join you, I'll burn the templars, mages, darkspawn, qunari, whoever, pls pls pls Morrigan!
"Absolutely NOT, I'd sooner late Alistair join my cause"
T.T
I to would Join her but alas they would never let you and you'd be forced to kill her.
00:42-00:43: I love how she sounded so like her mother Flemeth there almost saying that: "Pray tell, what meaning does our Elven "Expert" sense lurking behind this?"
Morrigan & Dread Wolf about Solas. XD
Im starting to wonder if Mythal and Fen'harel were once lovers??
Same thought here...
i believe Mythakl(not flemeth but mythal the spirit herself) to be Andraste, and Fenharel/dread wolf to be Andrastes Mabari..it makes more sense if you think of teh elvhen gods as very powerful beings, and over time reawaken after long slumbers, see teh state of the world and change it with but new names
Do you know the dialogue between cole and Solas?Cole says that he did for the people (elf means people in elvish) and he should not regret what he has done.
oh the irony of this hahah
When two of the best characters in the game series are about to start a mud fight
lol, the flock of parrots that flew down to chill around their feet.
And Solas stands beside as a not-of-factly.)
I can´t help but wonder if Solas already knows who Morrigan was before they met because of his connection to her mother, I half expected him to snap something like "how can you not know more about elven culture when your mother is who she is or what this statue means?!"
giving legend the weight of history ...damn Solas
Plot hole: The one who drank from the Well of Sorrows would be granted wisdom and knowledge that has passed down form ages. If that is the case, how come no one knew what Fen'Harel looked like, or that he's been under their noses the whole time?
Maro Nogoy
the dread wolf is a sneaky guy ....
Maybe Solas had hair in his gold age
The well can give knowledge. But it isnt obligated to reveal everything.
I suspect that whatever the well is or is connected to mythal would not betray Solas's identity anyways. Solad is one of their own and the well and Mythal have been playing a long game for a very long time indeed.
The Well is beyond humans or any modern elves
Morrigan...you are way to naive. but thats why I love you :)
Lol, I'd imagine the reaction from Morrigan if you told her that wouldn't be kind.
Wait, where do you find this? I was in too much of a hurry when doing this quest to properly look around...
morrigan my sweet summer child...
lets break it down. the current elves are mortal, the ancient elves are immortal.
Solas (Fen'harel) stated that the ancient elves had a city in the clouds, halem'sharal (cant spell).........regardlas there is more to this then it seems....and im loven it
Supposedly exposure to humans caused Elves to lose their immortality.
Kathic Those goddamn stupid Humons.
elves loosing their immortality its explained in DA Origins..it had something to do with their interactions with humans...cant remember what exactly.and that there still could be immortal elves but are very very rare..
uh no, they do say that in DA Origins but thats what most people assume is true. Solas explains in the end of Trespasser that by creating the veil and separating the fade from the "real world" he took away the elves' immortality
greenbeast777 the thing we know is that the immortale elves technically aren't gods like they are thought to be.
Does this scene change if you romance solas?
"You two look like you're about to kiss when you argue."
LAVELLAN GREATLY DISAPPROVES
Where exactly is this statue? Never saw it in my playthrough..
Thanks.
Found it. Thanks. :-)
Then you find who Solas is, just watch past her explanation of the end, with the choices you made, you will see 2 characters from the game, obvious fluff for whats to come, I chose not to spoil it for those who haven't finished
Where is it? I never found that statue.
Rivka Olstein In Temple of Mythal
I looked everywhere there. =\ In two different playthroughs.
Rivka Olstein It's where the first riddle is, before you enter the first door and see Samson/Calpernia escaping. Take archway on the left side of the balcony.
Next playthrough, then. Thank you! :)
chuckles hahaha
ohhhh her voice is just poisonousss
A bit hard to parse history from legend when a good 90% of the former was annihilated and everyone left is hellbent on removing everything that doesn't fit with the latter.
Lovely couple Morrigan&Solas.
How I missed morrigan
So many people are saying it, but I really want to add to the chorus, I miss Morrigans' snide ass banter, I hope her and the Warden get a lil' role in the next game
such tension e.e
How'd you get her in your party? I asked and she said "Nah"
I can't believe Morrigan humansplained elvish religion to an elf.
I was so confused when the inquisitor started talking because I thought he was a girl
bald Bald BALD !!!
I came here after Veilguard. Oh, Morrigan doesn't speak in this arrogant tone, not anymore... I thought I was mistaken but no.
Well she did gain a ginormous amount of wisdom since then
Anyone here in 2024 waiting for Veilguard???
Humansplaining
Morrigan x Solas. now kiss!
Oh boy, my aedan will probably punch the inquisitior for even suggesting the kiss, that’s his child’s momma, and his wife lol
Ah Morrigan... always try be the expert kind of person, at the end she always ends up the dumbest.
Dog Flamingo
" even considering Iron Bull's actions in DA:I: Trespasser."
you do know their is a way to make iron bull NOT to betray you, right?
FINALLY! I don't understand the Solasmancers :( He's a bad egg
FINALLY! I don't understand the Solasmancers :( He's a bad egg
Solas 😍
my inquisitor is the true inquisitor. this pale imitation just looks silly
