Holy crap... that put the 'fighting for one's life' in a whole new perspective. That Devore ship is a BEAST. Good coverage, powerful weapons on all sides... damn son. I'd say on-par with a Galaxy class or a D'Deridex warbird. Maybe tiny bit weaker. Even going all-out on tactics and weapons crippling, you JUST barely got out of that alive. And the opposite fight was just a roflstomp. Not even sporting. XD I can see why Janeway walked on eggs around the Devore Imperium. Those guys are no joke. Now I want to see a Devore warship against a Galaxy (or a Warbird).
I've gone for a mini Warbird vibe with this, an Ambassador class can just about fight it on equal terms with about 3% hull left, a Nebula has an easier time but takes damage. Voyager only won because of of its agility and the Warship's strong frontal weapon bias, if those weapons were spread around the hull I would have been toast!
That was AWESOME. they seem about evenly matched with the edge probably going to the Devore. Those torpedo's are absolutely devastating, probably some kind of Devore Quantum. TY I really appreciate it! ❤
Yea no. They're about as 'evenly matched' as I would be against Mike Tyson in his prime in the ring. Poor Voyager. No wonder Janeway was so careful not to piss the Devore off.
in the show, Janeway only complied with the Devore coz they kept sending multiple ships to intercept Voyager and thus outgunned them. So this battle makes sense if its just 1on1
If I remember right, Kashyk said Voyager "might stand a chance" against 1 Devore warship. I take that to mean 1v1, a Devore ship is more powerful but not so much that its guaranteed a win
@@meiray Yes, but VOY had upgrades from Borg drone One in Season 5 among other things. I think at least VOY would have better chances going against a DeVore warship one on one... two would be a stretch.... that much was said in the episode Counterpoint more or less.

You’re welcome! 👍 it was definitely easier playing as the Devore ship, it’s like a mini Romulan warbird

That was a heck of a fight! Nice strategy! Wonder what would've happened if you had gone after the sensors instead of the beams.
Thank you! Probably worse, the sensors are well protected
@@adamlee2111 fair enough. Still one heck of a fight.
Impressive piloting of Voyager for the win!!
Excellent strategy going for the ventral Devore beam first!

Devore vs Galaxy class might be fun
Masterful!
Limiting fire to their weapon ports has not proven to be effective captain.
That looks like a stock Intrepid, not Voyager.
How so? The model is clearly marked USS Voyager NCC 75646.

@@deksroning125 They removed the Borg upgrades as far as I remember, after Seven of Nine was introduced.
