You are a bad ass ,I never even go near water without at least lightweight workboots on.ive been fishing for 40+yrs.i have no problem wading or anything like that,I've seen some bad things happen to people's feet when they go in water barefoot. Great job catching fish on a beat day, good video. Controlling a boat and fishing on a windy day shows you know what your doing to.
Yeah and most are big, can't figure it out, its a phenomenon of the last 10 years or so. The All tackle world record was nearly broke a few years ago, over 19lbs
Does your fish finder get in the way of paddling? I just picked up the sportsman 106 and am setting up my garmin in the same spot, I’m worried it might. I’m also looking to get the rod holder you use when your unhooking a fish, do you also use it for trolling?
I’ve never had an issue paddling with the fish finder there. The rod holder on the left is perfect for trolling & the one on the right is great for taking fish off or storing between drifts
Thank you to share, I never do kayak fishing in Saltwater in NJ. I will try it very soon.
Definitely worth it
Yeah another asshole on the water .

Thanks brother that was a fun day minus the wind lol
Brother, you're making me want to add a kayak to the fleet!! Great video!! Congrats on the great day!
Thanks for watching 👍 yeah the kayak has changed the way I’ve fished. Haven’t used my boat in 3 years
Bro the ripples swimming towards your boat at 1:00 was crazy. I was just saying what is that swimming up and boom you got hit.
Got lucky 😂
I mean unlucky lol
Life is Good...........
That day it was
Definitely a nice slam . That Sheephead looked like it was pretty decent size. Thank you again for another great video !!!
yeah I’ve been finding them between 20-27” recently, had some big ones the other day
How were the green heads😳
Not bad
Nice. Love this kind of fishing.
I was fortunate that the weather held up early in the day and just made the most of the windy part 🤷♂️
Grease those pedals!😊
🫡
I didn't know there was sheepshead in new jersey
Yeah decent populations spread out

There's really bg sheep head in the jetty at Barnegat Light inlet so they're probably big sheeephead everywhere else too
Awesome video !
Thanks for watching brother 🤝
Nice kayak and great fishing
Thank you for watching brother 🤝

@@609Fishing thanks I’ll add both to my list
@@ralphzaccaria7420 If you go back to my 2021 spring striper video I have all the accessories I use in the video description 👍
I never fished with swim bait before. When you caught that striper, do you fish it like your fresh water fishing with a lure?
I grew up throwing lures in saltwater instead of freshwater so I’d assume they are similar tactics
Nice catches, do you know where you could find sheepshead in NJ? I’ve been interested in trying to catch them this year
Honestly they are everywhere just need the right bait & presentation
You need to get with Chuck Bryce from House Of Roads. He makes some sweet Yak rods. Awesome guy.
I’ll look into them 👍 thanks
where was this?
NJ
I know where you are
👍
@thedeadbirdy it’s Keyport I think
Me too it's a NJ back bay
