I heard this song on a juke box at Lucy's in East Village on a rainy night with like 8 people there. Everyone loved it, including the Rastas shooting pool. It was magic.
One of my fave songs in my entire live. Its glad to see Television is playing this song live. Thanks for uploading man. Greeting from Jakarta, Indonesia.
Hmmm. Here's my favourite comment on UA-cam in a while.... "If you are that miserable about someone's performance go start your own band." Fantastic! I don't go on Captain and Tennille postings and leave my hateful comments. I keep those thoughts to myself. HAHA. Thank you SO much for posting this. One of my favourite songs of all time.
@@phillyupstart9200 Vocals are a bit rough but the music sounds pretty good. Considering he was battling cancer and died a few years after this, give the man a break.
Did Verlaine say something to you? The previous night in Philly he verbally went after a guy with a camera and asked the crowd to vote on having him thrown out. Didn't happen I yelled for the guy to post the show on UA-cam. It's a shame there does not seem to be an excellent concert video record of this band.
Has to be one of the greatest riffs ever
One of my favorites to play for sure.
@@MichaelD8393 How do you even pick a favorite riff from that album?
@@jameshammons8339 It wasn’t easy; let's just say that!
And it only took them two minutes to get to that totally unknown riff..... sad
How come generations of Juilliard "geniuses" never wrote this?
Actually one of the best songs ever…

Verlaine has never gotten the recognition he so richly deserves. He should be in the RRHOF!

Patrick Druhan nope. Never said a word, he was too busy tunning I guess.
who is Tomś gtr partner?
He is the guitarist who "saved the reputation" of Television, who plays the same riffs as Richard Lloyd.
