Bookoply really does hate everyone. I decided to go with 6 rolls as I usually read around 8 books a month so to allow for doubles I picked 6 rolls and of course doubles betrayed me. I ended up with 16 books.
I do gymnastics like that every month in my TBR game. 😆 I roll everything first and then figure out what to use for each prompt. I love how it turns into a big puzzle to solve!
The Stone Sky is one of my favorite books of all time. Absolutely phenomenal finale in my opinion. I also loved The Galaxy, and the Ground Within, which you can tell was written under shelter in place orders. There's no medical quarantining, but due to circumstances a bunch of people have to put their lives on hold and stay in place for while. The audiobook make me realize that PSAs that end in "We're all in this together" is something of a trigger for me because the first time it came up I flinched. 40 hours a week in a grocery store that did PSAs every half hour that ended in "We're all in this together" apparently did a number on me 😬 Still a super fantastic book though!
The board was really nice to me, no doubles and pretty easy prompts 😅 I only read Morning Star of your TBR and loved it. But I also absolutely loved Golden Son so idk what that says 🙃
I'm also joining Bookopoly for the first time 🥰 I did 6 rolls and I'm so hyped! (100% get switching around the TBR, I'll probably end up doing it throughout the month 😂)
I love how the star emoji literally could fit the entire tbr! Morning star, laila starr, and then all the other scifi!! All very on brand 🌟 ❤ I hope you enjoy all those books G!
Also just realised at least 4 of the 7 are text and pattern and published in 2020+! So I think you could do even more swapping 😅, not that it would be any useful if you have to read all those books anyway
The Galaxy and the Ground within is probably my second favourite Wayfarer book, so I hope it lives up to the hype for you. The bird you saw hovering in one spot was either riding the wind.. or hunting for prey….
ohhh i hope you’ll like galaxy and the ground within! 💜 i really loved it, it’s my second favourite in the Wayfarers series, just after the long way to a small angry planet. best of luck with finishing all these series, i believe in you ✨
just random: the bird was a bird of prey and was actually hunting. They stay still in the sky looking for prey and then dive for it. (thank you for listening to my random biology fact😁)
Every single TBR of bookopoly this month has been BAD. I haven't seen one actually good/lucky board out of the many September tbrs I watched 😅 but yours have been the kindest out of the ones I've seen. Good luck!!
Nice TBR. I am participating. So far I only did 4 rolls, but plan on rolling more later in the month. I actually got the same first three rolls you did. Crazy lol
That was so much fun! And so much scifi, loving it. Tho I'm prettty sure 6 + 4 is 10 and the last book should've been EVEN longer, but hey I'm not good at maths either so it's fine 😂
"Listen...listen listen listen....listen." Girl, you do those mind games. :D (I love the math conspiracy overlay there, made me laugh so hard I started coughing).
I got lucky and didn't have any doubles somehow. I did roll for 10 rolls though. I read As Good As Dead and I enjoyed it, it wasn't my favorite of the series but I still enjoyed it. Good luck with your tbr!
Now watch G switch out all the big books to witch comics over the next month 😜 No seriously, such a fun video, I always enjoy TBR games☺ I hope this time your books have an audiobook version🤞I will do bookoplathon as well, but I think I will roll as I go and probably extend it a bit, so I can also do some mood reading without stretching and switching and making it fit a prompt😉
I'm doing the bookoplathon as well. I managed to get all my rolls - 8 rolls - I just went once around the board and stopped when I got back to the GO prompt - and all of my books ended up being Non fiction. And yes I know this is not non-fction November - but thats OK - I get to read even more non-fiction books for that read-a-thon as well.
I don't read many books a month so I just went with 4 rolls (I was going to go with 3) and the board was definatly in my favour lol I didn't get any doubles, i landed on the building and picked The Library at Mount Char by Scott Hawkins, Community Shelf and had to pick a book from one of my A Box of Stories Boxes and I picked Skyfarer by Joseph Brassey as it also goes with the ABOS September Challenge, then I landed on Features a Mystery and picked The Lost Apothecary by Sarah Penner and finally I landed on Becca Rec and I picked the Ex Hex by Erin Sterling
Started with 6 rolls, ended up with 7, so I think I did really well 😅 I always go for unread subscription books in September, so I’m reading Babel, A Marvellous Light, and Daughter of the Moon Goddess ✨
Good luck with the last GGGTM!! I was honestly sooooo mad with that one! I loved the first two and the last one made me want to burn the whole series!!
@@BookRoast Switch A Beautifully Foolish Endeavor from the Dice Roulette to Patterns and Text. Now Morning Star can move from Patterns and Text to Dice Roulette.
I did three rolls. I read Nisekoi vol 1, a manga for my short book, am currently reading The Fine Print by Lauren Asher for book set since 2020, and have to pick a pink book after for colour wheel. I’ll probably go with a manga! I might do another roll after that. We’ll see!
I actually haven't read any of these books, but I really hope you enjoy them! 😍 This readathon seems so fun, so I just printed the board and I will roll the dices later today! 😻🤞❣️
fun and ambitious idea to finish some series! I fully support all the swapping, haha. I ended up with 8 rolls, but got a lot of short books to fit the prompts luckily 😅
Oooh, can't wait to hear your thoughts on As Good as Dead! As with the previous books, I loved the pace and writing style. There were some wtf moments and I remember that I didn't love the ending, haha. My least favourite out of the three but still 4⭐ and definitely a ride!
Don't feel bad with doubles. I started with 5 rolls and ended up with 9. Rolled doubles 4 times. Working on the Good Girl's Guide to Murder series too but sadly might not get to it this month. Best of luck with your reads!
I was also thinking of attending the challenge and play the game. I want to do 5 rolls and ended up with 9. The gods weren't with me. So I'm still gonna try it, but I'm won't gonna stress about it.
Doubles happen. I set out to do 3 rolls and still got a double! I got all my prompts. I’ve thought about possible books to fulfill them, but I won’t pick the actual books until I’m ready to read for that prompt. I’m a mood reader through and through. It’s the only way I can do a read a thon.
Love it! My # almost doubled because of the doubles I rolled. But I chose to just use it as a list of prompts that I have to fill throughout the month. ♥️ good luck with your pile!
Bookopoly hates everyone this month I swear. I picked 5 rolls to push myself cuz I’ve been reading 2 at most but I just finished at my job so I figured more time to read…..I now have 9 books to read
I'm scared to do my rolls now 🙈😆 why does everyone get so many doubles. I plan to do 5 rolls and when I finished them before the end of the month I'll roll as I go.
Unfortunately, I hated As Good As Dead - I enjoyed the first half, but the second half was so not it 😢 the rest of them I haven't read, but I hope you love them!
Oh my.... Is this happening? I mumbled "morning star morning star oh pleeease morning star" since you announced you want to complete series in September - sooo curious on your opinion on this one!! Since I've started red rising because of you/Logan, I owe you so much, it's become one of my most favorite (and horrible, painful) series of all time! 👀😄
I'm looking for your opinion on Morning Star because I too found Red Rising amazing but Golden Son extremely disappointed to the point where I don't even know if I want to read the third book 🥴 So you might convince me to either read it or drop the series hahaha Good luck for the challenge!!
Omg exciting!! And also, and I'm saying this with all the love, but I think you didn't move your figurine the second time on your second double roll and also 6+4 is 10, not 9 😂 But I 100% understand the slips, you've already got yourself a biiig selection!
Hahah no no I did do two rolls for the double as I ended up with two double rolls and aimed for 5 total books but have 7 at the end but I absolutely did add 4+6 and got 9 somehow 😂😂😂😂😂 big brain moment idk what I was thinking
The gymnastics are definitely allowed 😂 I also have a lot of big books on my tbr so we're in the same boat 😭
*cries but cries together* ❤️😂

16!? H-how? I’m not sure I want to know. There’s also what prompts you land on that could be bad for you.
crying for you
I do gymnastics like that every month in my TBR game. 😆 I roll everything first and then figure out what to use for each prompt. I love how it turns into a big puzzle to solve!
It’s good for our mental health 😌
"My heart went into my ass" 😂😂😂 best quote ever.
"I'm too sober for this" had me rolling. Even though you were talking about the bird, it felt appropriate for the game too.
Just fitting for life let’s be real 😂
@@BookRoast 🤣Oof. I feel this in my bones. Or maybe my liver.

Hi, the bird may well have been a kestrel hovering and hunting. They dive down when they spot prey.
Love the bookopoly method. :)
Ooooh that’s cool, maybe it was!! Looked so weird and interesting!
What a CUTE outfit! You look like an adorable character on a book cover
Naw thanks!
Love watching everyone’s TBR’s.
The board is angry this year 😅 I hope I don't get too many doubles too but I'll probably start with less rolls just in case 😉
