What do you spray the finished pieces with to give them a sheen. I love your videos. I did this technique of staining and painting about 20 years ago and I now have a nativity set that I want to start. I've learned so much from you and I wanted to thank you for the wonderful tutorials. Another thing I'd like to ask, can you use the Americana acrylic products from Hobby Lobby to paint the pieces with. I don't have a ceramic store in my town. Thank you again.
For the finished pieces to give them a sheen, I use a gloss Acrylic spray. Watch the very end of my pumpkin video for an example of the Acrylic spray. Yep, you can definitely use the Americana acrylic paints. In fact, Americana acrylics are my favorite brand to use. I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.
