- Classic Ghazal originally sung by Mehdi Hassan Sahab and written By Faiz Ahmad Faiz was performed by Gayatri in Delhi for the concert Ghazal Ka Safar at India International Center . Accompanied by Arshad Khan ,Amit Choubey and Suboor .
I had heard this ghazal by a cassette player tape recorder in the year 1979-80 ( original ghzal sung by Ustad Mehdi Hassan Khan Saheb), I am very much pleased to see this ghazal sung beautifully by Madam Gayatri Asokan Ji in this video recorded program. Thankyou.
