this is pollen filter also known as cabin air filter. remember the airflow arrow on the cabin filter which way it came out u will see an arrow on the pollen filter. here in the uk we call it pollen filter.
Just put the mechanisme on the shaft first, then put the drawer in top first and pull the slow mechanisme in the slotted hole. Then hook the bottom hinges in. Took me 2 minutes
After replacing air filter I tried for an hour to install compartment again. This "slower" mechanism is a problem. I simply don't know how to place it in proper position. There's no place to use hands. And when I tried to install compartment, slower mechanism went down everytime..no way to stop it. Not it works without it. I really don't know how you managed to to that for the first time

hi Artuvia. First of all - its misleading video as compartment is easy to remove without power - just need to lift up and its going out of hinges. Install back - make "slower" longer arm and install compartment first - then use hook or pincer to fix in position. Some headlamp is helpful :)

Can you do this for Octavia 4? it is much much harder, it is like you need a special tool for it.

Filter only goes in 1 way, so you can't really mess it up, just changed mine about an hour ago.
