Writer and director Guillermo Arriaga wrote the scenario's for successful non-linear stories like Amores Perros, 21 Grams and Babel, that were directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu. But Arriaga decided to start directing himself. 'Writing is hard. Really, really hard. The enjoyable part for me is directing. So why would I want to miss that?'
