I think people just didn't expect what the song would actually be like? I also didn't expect Fast Forward to be like that, but it's grown on me as I listened to it more. I saw a lot of online speculation after watching the trailer that the MV and song would be about somi's school life and how she was bullied etc.
Everything except for the last one was the problem. The Palestine situation is really terrible because parents are literally picking up pieces of their children's flesh in plastic bags so they can properly bury them. Though I agree kpop idols doesn't get much say in these stuff and it's the company who have them do this, it's still disappointing to see the people you support are promoting brands that gives money to genocide war. The whole thing of "Boycott X brand because of Y bad thing" and expecting others to do the same feels ridiculous to me. I'm sure 99% of the people who get mad over these thing, also indulge in a ton of other things from brands who do morally questionable or even inexcusable things for the production of their products. The whole thing of "Boycott X brand because of Y bad thing" and expecting others to do the same feels ridiculous to me. I'm sure 99% of the people who get mad over these thing, also indulge in a ton of other things from brands who do morally questionable or even inexcusable things for the production of their products. How many of the people who got upset about the Starbucks thing, wrote negative comments from their Iphones, that were probably produced under terrible labour conditions, while wearing clothes that were made in sweat shops around the world, as they also eat meat that was made through animal cruelty. The fact is, it is near impossible to avoid indirectly supporting these kinds of things. You can try all you want, but there will always be products you don't realize are produced unethically. And expecting everyone else to be aware of these things, and actively cut them out of their lives completely, is just ridiculous.
If you want to cut out certain brands because of your morals, that is completely fine. If you want to make posts, encouraging others to do the same, then go right ahead.
