OMG! We witnessed a miracle when the Braves actually got some runs in with the bases loaded! Finally it is about damn time!
That double play by Betts in the 1st was huge. If he gets out any other way a run definitely scores on the Hernandez double, not to mention it could make the inning get out of hand quick and given sales first inning struggles that play really proved to be a game changer even though it didn’t seem like it then.
Braves are really good at playing up and down to their competition.

And that leads me to believe the problems they have are mental.. we need the warrior killer instinct because let's be real. We are at war for our playoff lives.
@steveo3530 Its hard to do when half your lineup has been missing. Late August was like the first time the lineup was consistently the same.
@soulknife20 I can agree with that but my point is, do you think the mental part of having half your team injured affected the remaining players that weren't injured or just the clubhouse in general. Was Matt Olson sucking because everyone was injured? Kelenic?Arcia? Those are just the healthiest of the bunch. What about the injured before they got injured?

Orlando with the clutch knock again. Whatever people want to say about him, he has sort of quietly woken up his bat the past month or so and had some pretty big hits in some pretty big games. If the Braves make it to the postseason, his late season play will be one of the reasons.
Chris Sale is the Cy Young winner for this year and it's not even all that close. Frankly he's the best starting pitcher in all of baseball and it's also not very close their. His numbers are dominant and he leads in pretty much every category that matters. And all it cost Atlanta was Vaughn Grissom who forgot how to stay healthy and hit in Boston
We are gonna need to play like this for the rest of September and in October

I have criticized this team all year long but it's not their fault because this team has dealt with a ton of injuries this year. But yet they are still in the playoff hunt and we may have lost Lopez for the rest of the year including Riley and Albies. But this team still has pitching and pitching matters in the postseason but you can still go Sale, Morton, and Fried. So this team still has a chance and if they can play like they have during this current home stand well this team could be a dangerous wild card team
