it is very common to have vaginal odours since vaginas are "self cleansing organs" [ with or without periods] normally with proper hygiene and care, it smells fermented or sour.. but during periods it smells metallic because of blood
but yeah the problem is when if the odour is strong! yeah it might be because of not changing the pads or tampons but most of the times its bacterial infection [ thats why it smells fishy] which is very common and can be cured with proper hygiene :)

Firstly, for the smelly couchie thing let me tell you it's not like she was unhygienic but when girls are on their periods the blood collects on their pad nd all the other secretions nd stuff collects on their pad which creates bad odour. Mostly u won't know it but in some women it's very bad and noticable. Also inspite of this there's a medical condition where the vagina smells bad all the time due to some urinary tract issues in some people. Secondly I love you hehehe 🙈❤️
