It’s the Ecurie Ecosse Austin Healey driven by Ninian Sanderson and William MacKay but I have no idea who was behind the wheel (rather thrown off the wheel) by the time of the accident. Possibly MacKay. I read quite a few reports of that race there were a couple more big shunts where drivers were thrown off the cars some left with broken arms and legs some with bruises but there is no data about this incident. Probably the driver left with some bruises. I cannot believe how lucky they were back then to leave with small marks or broken bones after casually been thrown off the car… Mind-blowing era of racing…
Handsome Pedro Rodriguez wearing all the remaining Aztec gold. A great clip. And the Rockabilly swing goes perfect with it. Thankyou 😊
Fantastic quality of film. Swooping past White House, amazing!
Super.!!!
Great seeing Alfred Momo with the Cunningham Maserati Tipo 63s at 1:44 on. I think the V12 was the highest finishing Maserati in the modern era.
Who crashed in the #46 ?

Bill Mackey who shared the Car with Ninian Sanderson
Apparently Mackay only suffered a broken arm
