I can't believe someone can just walk right in the middle of the dance without feeling one iota of shame! Its just because the children have been taught very well and they have a very high level of concentration otherwise that dance could have been ruined! Smh and NAWA for Africa! We dont appreciate ourselves and our things, that's our biggest problem!
@Esther Reed yea thats how people who think they have arrived at success look at the ones they gleefully leave behind.pride in a suit n dress looks bad on any person.no respect 4 others is the threat our children face daily all over the world
Talented and professional. Their movement puts it all in prospective as far as any of today's contemporary dance moves. Absolutely roots. And they all are very pleasant, happy and enjoying the dance.
This performance maybe a thousand years old, but it will remain as the all-time most captivating show ever. All the children are gorgeous, ultra-disciplined, coordinated, focussed - undistractable not even by those old men and women who were mindlessly walking to and fro right thru the middle of the fantastic extravaganza. An impeccable production!
Just seeing this wonderful piece. This is a way to start the young people and make them nation builders. Art music is important to molding the mind, especially minds of the young people. I will recommend that other states of the federation open channels of training like this for other young minds. God bless those who mentored these intelligent minds. This is indeed wholistic education.
This is God-given mighty uniqueness in abilities. These children of God's state are by far the most intelligent at school work, most likely. They are always better. Akwa Abasi Ibom youngins. They always score the highest in most schools. Beautiful tiny Ibibio people!
how can suuuuuuch hard work and effort evident in these children's performance be DISRESPECTED to the level it is!! the the stupid adults that are mindlessly and disrespectfully walking across the platform for entertaining just ASTOUNDS ME....SMH!
Are these kids or worriers of the music! i feel so--------------so ! African and proud to young children doing replacement talent. Please those behind, don't leave these kids. For sure, that girl is a center of interest. Thanks.
This are ibibio cultural dance and yes we are aware of the fact that a lot of ibibio people were shipped out to that particular part of the world by Europeans.

@yHairH2O, In Africa we don't have steel drums-but drums covered with animal hide- we also have the local wooden xylophone. I reckon African slaves had to create their own musical instruments.
I've never wanted to slap somebody so hard through a computer screen b4! The lack off respect these fools in suits are showing these talented children is nothing short of unforgivable smh!
those children are beautiful don't bother those girls you are the light of the Earth did hear the cleanse the planet the planet need peace Africa is supposed to be the new generation of the whole universe need those beautiful girls alone there are like being if you surely touch one time you surely will perish they're here they're very old souls in young bodies can't tell you no more
