Your video feels like a breath of fresh air! It's a reminder of the beauty and magic of the natural world!
Thank you!
Love the burlap idea! Also terrified to direct sow my floret seeds!
Weird, I know but seeing your garden dirt hands while you chat is so comforting. I generally garden barefoot so I have the dirty feet going on with the dirty hands when I come in from chores.
Смотрю из России, учусь у вас дорогая!
Always learn something new from your videos! Your knowledge is incredible 💛
That was a long day! Looks like boys have a new haircut :-D We have transplanted our indoor started zinnias this week and also seeded few directly...but we are still not past our last frost :-) Thank you for these vlogs!
Hi❤ we're all done with spring here in the desert in the coachella valley. The heat is here for us and a lot of wind. Enjoy your day❤❤❤❤
I'm excited to see update videos on ALL that you're growing! I couldn't justify the cost of the Floret seeds but I will live vicariously through your garden. Besides, I have my queen lime series to plant for the 1st time this season!! If you're planning on doing a harvest & cold storage of peonies I'd love to see that. I'm going to look for B. Interests blue grama seeds and try a small walkway between my raised beds. Thanks for sharing all your tips!
I lucked out by finding a treasure trove of 1980s wooden grape boxes on Craigslist for $2 each, so my need for seedling trays is covered! I had to plant up my tomatoes into bigger pots a couple of weeks ago. We're well past our last frost date, but we haven't had warm enough soil temps to plant out. As for deep planting tomatoes, apparently it depends on soil temp. If you plant really deep in an area that doesn't get very warm summer temps, the stem and roots will suffer from being planted where the soil is much colder at depth. Planting sideways like you did is a better idea as the roots stay closer to the surface.
😂I thought I was the only crazy person that was afraid to plant the Floret seeds! 😂😂
Same 😂 I am saving some for next year in case I blow it!
Me too!
@@GrowWithSarame too!!
There was one packet of the zinnias that were $20! Unicorn. Thanks for the burlap tip. I am going to try it!
i’ve been binge watching your videos all week and get so excited when another one comes out! lol😂
Hey for zinnias, to avoid being eaten you can also place a netting over them until they are established. LOL yes I too get floret so completely understand. Just received more Dahlia seeds. BTW any other tips for growing I would appreciate. I have the Shooting Star Bee's choice and Petite florets. So excited!! Good look on your season this year!!!
I have learned so much from your videos! Thank you☺️ I absolutely love your idea of the wood boxes, and wool. Can’t wait to try it out🌈✨
Can you show us the tomato trellis system that you use? ❤
Have you discussed how you control bindweed? I heard you mention in a previous video you were testing a method? I really need help, it is obnoxious 😅
I planted my Floret Zinnias today, and yes, it was terrifying!!
Enjoyed the video...I always appreciate your gardening tips and suggestions.
The best time to yes is dusk, but plant with a cloudy day afterwards
Enjoy learning from you 🫶🌱
I direct seed my zinnias too but I couldn't help but to start my ones from Floret indoors. I'm scared to plant them out because the cut worms are wreaking havoc in my gardens this year. But I saw your tip (I used TP rolls cut up) and so far it's working beautifully!
Oh the cutworms are annoying this year, what exactly was her tip?
What are cutworms? Something ate all my Floret Zinnia seedlings.I'm still trying to figure out what it was.😢
Yes, please remind me of the tip you referenced. I'm having trouble with snackers on my zinnias too!!
@aimeesgardens can you tell me where to find the tip?? Thank you!
@@schoolbeginsaftercoffee4759 if they were eaten it was probably wasn't cut worms. They literally cut your seedlings down at soil level. I took the cardboard inserts from toilet paper and paper towel rolls cut into one inch rings and put them around the stuff I am most worried about. I can't do it with everything but for my Floret seeds and other stuff I am super excited about i take the time to do it. I'm going to try her burlap tip too though on my sunflowers because they are getting eaten as soon as they come up.... probably by earwigs, caterpillars or pill bugs
Great video again💚 Question What is your soil temp?
0:41 I only have 1 part time helper, but most of the time he's playing Minecraft instead😆
