I registered a new bought hull from a boat shop in Perth. All I had to do was take the purchase slip with all the info into DOT pay rego, buy stickers and pay n done. The boat was new n never had regos previously. Never ever had to take a boat over pits. Even when my first boat didn't have a him number. Prof of ownership and DOT supplied me with a plate with HIN to fix to the hull.
I’ve owned a big duck for around 5 years never had that problem and the boat works perfectly just a bumpy ride when you get some chop but it will jump some pretty big waves
Hi guys just received my 2000 watt itech power station. Plugged it in to the caravan and turned on the heater , and worked a treat! Your recommendation made my mind up to buy it , thanks for your great content, love your work 👍😎
Ripper content as always. Im no booky so who knows the odds but it might be time to start making bets on whether or not Keelan pops the boat with his brand new second hand gaff 😂 🐐
your bang on about being genuine You guys are a 100% duty cycle on all the stuff you use & hard on it, so many things wont hack it, what does last we do pay attention. we really appreciate the effort! great entertainment and great info!
In OZ , the only real burgers are good beef, fresh lettuce, tomato, cooked onions and beetroot! Everything else you want to add is optional and is whatever you like! Make it yourself and enjoy
I so wish Urban made a 13 footer (pop top) with a 'single' bed for solo travellers like me - I'd buy one in a heartbeat! Getting a bit old for the tent now but can't find what I want in a hybrid that can do the job offroad with the Hilux. :(
Hi Sarah and Keelan, Steven from Big Duck here. We are very disappointed to hear of your negative registration experience. We can definitely help you out here and rectify this for you. Could you please reply to the email we sent to you yesterday? Our team is standing by to assist. :) Cheers, - Big Duck Inflatables
I bought a small inflatable in Perth for a bit of fun and the boats HIN was not in any DOT GOV system! I only tried registering it online but couldn't! I just didn't bother getting a new HIN put on in the end even though I could have got it done at the Swan River Maylands not far from me because it just wasn't worth it I just used it on the Swan a few times with an electric motor then sold it! I think some Chinese manufacturers use a generic HIN like they do with their Mobil phone copies?
Sorry you had hassles with the yacht. We had a similar beast a couple of years ago, with a 4 horse yammie. It was absolutely fit for purpose and did not need to be registered (in QLD) as it was the tender for the bigger boat. I think that is their main application, but we love your nads for taking the thing to the places you do! Stayed at Warroora a couple of months ago, and visited those camps - they were all booked up so we moved on to Bullara then South Lefroy. Awesome part of the world.
We had same issue many years ago with a Zodiac Bought locally brand new in Perth Got it originally for a tender for our yacht but after a few years were told that if we used it for pleasure also we had to register it. Yup lotsa money and number not a HIN
I own a Big Duck. It's registered here in QLD. Never had an issue getting it registered. The provided HIN worked perfectly at the transport department.
Nice one, half the comments we have had are from people saying what happened to us, they had the exact same thing happen to them and then half said it was okay. Luck of the draw
They say envy is a bad thing but I'm happy for you guys, I love your channel, and thank you for sharing these excellent videos. This episode made me envious, maybe because it's cold here in Perth at the moment. 🌊🌊😎😎
great episode guys haven't got my van yet 3 more months, but got the antiflap from Aldi at 6.49 extra special after the weekly sales, getting what I can cheap now than later at full price
Bought some cheap de-flappers from ebay or some site online and they came with two pairs of Velcro straps. Went to use one of the shorter ones and it just fell apart at the seam. So now we use a long and wrap it around multiple times as I couldn't be bothered dealing with the seller. Obviously should have gone with aldi ones instead and saved a few more bucks!
People will stay if they believe what they're being told. You both sound very honest and upfront with things, so we stay around with the likes that follow.
@@TheRat71 My boss and I looked it up last fishing trip as he got a tinny for his son. I too was under the impression is was 6hp but the rules state its >/=3hp doesn't need to be registered and >/=6hp you don't need a boating licence. Well they give it in Kw due to us being metric and all but an easy conversion for convocation sake.
Welcome to boating Don’t forget boat rego, boat insurance, trailer rego, skippers ticket, fishing from boat licence, mooring fees, pen fees and yacht club membership and that’s before you put fuel in the tank Your commentary just rolls off your tongue, it’s what keeps me coming back😊
Enjoy your channel and your style of presentation . How much water do you hold? Beetroot is a must but I also think a slice of uncooked pineapple is also a winner.
Hell yeah burgers and beetroot, it’s the only Aussie way, thanks for another amazing video, I love you fun and youthfulness it’s refreshing, and remember guys stay safe👌👍❤️
Spewing the bad news about the big duck! Safe to say I think you have already got your $1000 worth! Also stoked the hoodies are keeping you guys nice and warm! ❤️
I have 2 Bris Inflatables in S.A. Yeah you need to be allocated a new hin number and tag. About $120. Although, in saying that one of the inflatables was registered in N.S.W with the Chinese Hin, which is strange
Any boat that has a motor on it must be registered. I had a couple of run-ins with rangers and police because I fitted a water snake elec outboard to my kayak. You're right though, it's nothing more than a money grab
You mentioned you never run out of water and will be in the next spot for 28 days? You may have mentioned this in previous videos which I haven't seen. Have you talked about this or skip over the trips to water points?
In NSW you don’t have to register a boat with a less than 4kw or 5.44hp motor. Raises the question if a NSW resident takes a boat with less then 4kw into another state can you use it if that state requires that boat with a less than 4kw motor to be registered?
Can't beet a root on a burger.😂 I have the same winch as you guys, wondering what type of battery goes in the controller? And how ge you install it? Hopefully your run of bad Juju comes to an end soon
Can never eat beetroot, anything that colour is warning you of something. Actualy tried it for the first time by mistake a few months ago and liked it, but nope I still won't eat it 😂
Can I ask a question please Kelan? You are an Itechworld guru and sparky. I have 3 x Itechworld 120ah x pro batteries that I want to join in parallel. What gauge cable would you use to join battery to battery? Appreciate any help. Thank you.

They say the plumbers taps always leak and the sparkies connections are always loose. 🤣🤣🤣

Yes to beetroot on ya burger 🍔.
What a bloody pain with registering your boat. Oh well, upwsrds & onwards team. 😊
Consider upgrading your jocket wheel to a Bos370. So convenient.
tip for taco bread, quick toast or dry fry. takes the flour taste out, looks the goods tho
👍👍you'll have ta register ya surfboards next crikey
did this in early eighties with a small tent and a commando barbie - and no one else around for many miles
Great episode and great feedback about the boat, thanks for that!!
Awesome as guys ❤ the burger 🍔 cooked it up .. I like seeing food close ups & reviews 👍👍🇦🇺🍻🙂

Beets are not something that is put on a burger in the states. But I'm going to give it try next time I grill some burgers.
100% about the boat. We just bought a BRIS 3.1 instead of the Big Duck. NSW cost me $165 to get a HIN certificate then rego.
Hi guys, have you ever done a video on your 200 series set up and mods?
If not, could you do one please?
Hi Keelan, Spray some WD-40 over your solenoids and winch electrics. Worked for me on my ageing Warn 10,000 lb winch.
Well done guys. That Kentucky Fried Wahoo looks lush.
Seems your water lasts for ages and now at Stevens Camp for 4 weeks....
Aldi is great I have been using those awning straps for 2 years great great vids keep it up 👍
Great vid guys, we were on that exact site at Stevens back in 2021, and still got the same anti-flappers doin the job! 😂😂 Enjoy! 🍻🍻

Yep, definitely Drought master in the Pilbara/ Gascoyne

Thanks for watching legend

Hahah everyone hates when I go to Aldi. Come out with a full trolley of sh*t I don't need. 😂

Definitely DC not AC production. You are always direct and never waiver back on forth with your experiences.
Damm l miss that place blue waters ,fishing, living the dream 😂👍👍👍👍👍
Definitely need the beetroot in a burger, as they say you can't beet a root :)
Two minds about Beetroot - like the taste, hate the mess!!
It's a no for me on any beetroot on anything! Another great show 👍😎
Well that answered my boat question . Thanks guys.
Can’t wait to see what crop you grow in 28 days. 😂
Here in Queensland if the outboard is no more then 6hp you don't need rego or a boat licence
nah mate. over 3hp needs rego, over 6hp needs a licence here in qld.
Shit that's not what I was told. I have the same set-up as Keelan has for that reason
@@TheRat71 My boss and I looked it up last fishing trip as he got a tinny for his son. @liamcooper6721 yer I went and looked it up too, 3kw works out to 4.6hp and I have a 5hp outboard. Bloody government always gets you somewhere.

Beetroot on a burger? Number1! You know what they say about beetroot? You can beet an egg but you can't beat a 'r..t!! Hehe
Surely you didn't have 2 of those patties on your burgers 🍔 they were huge and yes to beetroot cheers legends 😄

Exact same thing happened to me with my big duck (in NSW). Not enough numbers - Cost me an extra $200 to get it sorted with the correct plate
Loving the content guys, Just wondering what size webber your using. Our Urban not far away.
What did the dealer of the boat say about the incorrect number? Is it not something to take up with fair trade?
110 percent on the beetroot.
Cool episode
Yes to beetroot on burger!
Beetroot is a must on a burger. Grab an Ark XO750 jockey wheel. Swear by mine. Not cheap but awesome.
Flag rego on the rubber duck 🦆…..just send it , no one will ever know 😂👍
Spewing the bad news about the big duck! Safe to say I think you have already got your $1000 worth! Also stoked the hoodies are keeping you guys nice and warm! ❤️
Beetroot in burgers should be law, I haven’t checked but I wouldn’t be surprised if there was one. Split the followers….pineapple in a burger 👍👍👍👌🍍🍔
Pineapple on a burger or pizza should be banned by law!
Just my opinion, pineapple people
😅😊😮😢
That's called "The Lot"😉😋😊
Beetroot goes with most things, burgers, salads, tacos whatever.
Definitely Droughtmaster, wish I could buy 4burger patties like that for $18
Sometimes we splurge haha they tasted epic
Those Sunnies are cooler than penguin piss how I get shades like that
HahHa I’m stealing this one!! Keep them coming Eddie hahah
@@SarahandKeelanTravels 👍 🤣
Kenoaf gotta have beetroot on a burger 😊
I would have been shocked if an inflatable boat from China had a compatible registration number for Australia
I have 2 Bris Inflatables in S.A. Yeah you need to be allocated a new hin number and tag. About $120. Although, in saying that one of the inflatables was registered in N.S.W with the Chinese Hin, which is strange
😂 really 🤦♂️ and they had nothing to do with the corona virus either 😂😂😂
Could you please share the name and size of your outdoor mat. The one where the sand falls through.
Catherine 😁🌺
Beetroot is a must on a burger 🍔
Nope
Get a Boss Jack. Great piece of kit. Jockey wheels are useless. The van is to heavy to use a jockey wheel.
Beetroot always!
The problem with the boat is in fact with the authorities.... why on earth do you need to register such a silly little boat,,,,, just money-grabbing.
Any boat that has a motor on it must be registered. I had a couple of run-ins with rangers and police because I fitted a water snake elec outboard to my kayak. You're right though, it's nothing more than a money grab
Because ppl litter the waterways with boats.

You can beat an egg but you can’t beat a root!
Thag fish would be about 30 to 40 dollars i think
How much water are you carrying? And do you carry a water bladder and quantity?
All the info is in the videos after this one
you left the jockey wheel down and drove away........ hey hey........
Beetroot? Yep.. used to smash a lot of aussie burgers at HJs.. beetroot and egg I think?
20 bucks from Aldi for the win😊
Can never eat beetroot, anything that colour is warning you of something. Actualy tried it for the first time by mistake a few months ago and liked it, but nope I still won't eat it 😂

and illegal 🤦♂️
Yum tacos 🌮

Beetroot ✅
