Pechora is 1961 born....Time to time upgraded....Connecting missile v-600 range is 35 km.....It is ok .Bt when we guard our boundary from dbo to doklam...At our western front..... We need more capabilities
O bhai we are using the modren upgraded variant of pechora missile system jaise for jaise bugatti ki production bahot sai chalu hai uske pehle models 1990s mai bahot fast the lekin aj ke modern jamane mai bugatti ke aur fast and upgraded variants aaye hai vaise pechora missile system ko bhi step by step develop kar diya hai aur indian air force pechora system ka developed version use kar rahi hai just look at the modern antenna radars and compare that with 1961 antenna radars you will understand the diffrence
Missile technology is sophisticated.....I agree with our modernization....Bt we hv to work on power balance capacity building....We r not Vietnam like country .We r 4th ranked world power.....Without comparing mechanised warfare with china will pay heavy cost......
What about that men who really work hard for this equipment... You people only come for photography otherwise I never seen any leader to come near to this equipment.. They will never show real men who work hard for this system......

Most of our SAM defence systems are located on urban airport locations and some other near to the enemy's major airports ! Hence they knew it they decided to sneak through where we had moderate air support like Mig 21 squadrons ! because they assumed they had minimal threat to their modern yanky Falcons against Soviet era Flying coffins !
They later realised that the coffin was for their own flying Falcons! (F-16 D block 52 ) 😝😂😂

Is our air defense so good that it shot down our own helicopter ? We have shown our offensive capability but question has been raised on our defensive capacity
On 27FEB2019, early morning consolidation of enemy A/C on our western front was building up.
Just before the enemy incursion , a MI17-V5 that had left Srinagar air base for a local sortie, was returning back to base. Radio silence was jn effect. Squawk code was assigned. However due to low flying above terrain, local Missile defense system could not " Correlate" this flight plan data. In less 5 minutes, the sky over Srinagar was roaring with our Airforce Fighters as a dog fight had just begun.
In short, we lost our own Bird and Valuable lives from friendly fire.
God bless their souls.

We can detect stealth aircraft with s400 not by any other Sam used in indian airforce. S400 can detect even American f35 and f22 Superior multirole stealth fighter jet.
