My wife and I recently stayed at another hub hotel, also in Edinburgh .. the one at Haymarket. We paid £167 for 3 nights in one the larger type rooms. Certainly not a large room, just a wee bit larger than the standard rooms. It was perfect for our needs.
Late last year, we had a trip to London, our first time away fore may many years. We initially thought about the premier Inn near Kings Cross, but it didn’t look to be in a great area, so we looked further afield. In the end, we found the Goodge Street hub hotel. We had three great nights there. We returned again last month too.

Hey Brian thanks for checking out our video and it's great to hear you had a good time on your trips away, we actually stayed at the Haymarket hub hotel just shortly after this one and can also fully recommend it, the full thing is also on the channel, we definitely need to get to the Goodge street one though!

I paid around £119 for FOUR nights a few years ago (2019). Shows how much prices have gone up. Actually, I stayed at the Rose Street one, which I think is a better location. They have rooms with a view of the castle. That's what I requested the two times I've stayed there.
People should bear in mind that some rooms don't come with a window at all!

That's amazing but also crazy to see how much the price has inflated in such a short time period in reality, didn't know that about the windows either so thank you for letting us know!
Appreciate you checking out our video and thanks for commenting! ☺️

@@ForrestThrills As a matter of fact my last stay (last year) when I entered the room I found I'd been put in a windowless room, despite requesting a window. I didn't really want that as I was there for six nights, so I went back down to reception and they moved me. In 2019 it was the cheap price, and I watched a few YT videos, so I thought I'd give it a go. I found I really like these hotels. I'm into technology so the tech features really appeal to me. There used to be an app you could control the room features with, but they got rid of it.

I stayed in a Hub in London in May and was very impressed, so I was curious about your experience. (Unfortunately, I had to cut it short as the camera movement was making me queasy!) If any readers here are planning a trip to London, I can highly recommend the Hub on Farringdon Road. Great location, super clean, and wonderful staff. :)

Thanks for watching the video even if it was only a partial viewing!
We have stayed in a few Hubs along the way, it's not a bad chain but this one in particular missed the mark in cleanliness for us but at the end of the video we did say it was still good and a good value stay. We have another video up from the Haymarket Hub that was a much better and cleaner one if you wanted to have a look.
      Thanks for stopping by!

@@ForrestThrills Thank you! I'll definitely have a look at your Haymarket Hub video. (I did see pretty much all of the other one, forwarding a bit and dipping in.) When I first heard of these places, I thought they'd be too small but a review by Walk With Me Tim changed my mind. :)
