The anime is called Berserk. The creator passed away a few years ago without finishing his grand epic, but fortunately his best friend is continuing the story in his place. I personally feel this song is really fitting for the story and that chorus is just epic as hell. Also loving the Rammstein influences in this song. Also Brand Of Sacrifice entire music catalogue is themed around the Berserk series.

I'm glad I'm not the only one hearing Rammstein influence here. Not as industrial obviously but you can absolutely hear it in the key signatures. I really enjoy the stylistic difference between their "normal" stuff and this kind of more doomy-melodic feel. It just sounds like they're killing everything they've been doing recently and I'm here for it
@meffis_project I know he isn't the best singer but I think it's still cool that he tries and you can really see the progress he's made over the years. It's just refreshing to hear so many cleans in a song from someone who always sounds like a demon
@@egoreirich789 to be honest, i think theres no progress in singing. I cant rate the progress by studio recordings. For this i watch live versions, and its bad (clean vocals). The thing is he doesnt need that. This song feels to me really bad even in studio version. It sounded good in Kostolom album studio versions especially "i killed a man", good song, good quality, good experiments in this album. Maybe it's just this song now. May see what they bring in new album. Hope for good stuff, even if its some kinda ballads or smthg.
*Title and MV is from the Manga/Anime Berserk, which Alex is a huge fan of. He named his dog Guts which is the name of the main character from the series. He's brought out his sword "Dragon Slayer" a few times on stage too lol*
For something so different from their regular catalog, this still slaps hard! About the potential album, the song is published on Spotify as sort of an EP with viking/conflict/KOD, so I'm assuming it's all part of an upcoming album. Also, gotta love how Alex is so passionate about an anime, and isn't even slightly afraid to put out songs in memory of the creator of something he loves, while still being heavy bangers 🤘
The author of Berserk Kentaro Miura is regarded as one of if not the best manga artist of all time. Berserk is the darkest most brutal helpless story ive ever read, yet beautiful at the same time. A behelit is an egg with facial features on it that allows someone in their ultimate despair to make a sacrifice to the evil universal demon kings known as the God Hand for a monsterous power. I also found out 2 weeks ago that Lorna Shore is into Berserk since they sell Merch with Guts on it.
This is my favourite STP song to date and I'm a long time fan who would have never expected to say this if you described the song to me before I heard it. And the fact that the video works so well with the Berserk story is just freaking awesome.

first listen i said hmm, 2nd listen i said hell yea. also the orchestra sound reminds me of Rammstein Mein Herz Brennt. i love how much slaughter keeps evolving.
@egoreirich789 i think with the first listen it sounds like it's messy and all over the place but then after you listen to it more, it all blends together better.
I love this new track! I actually enjoy the fact that it is so different. I like seeing a variety instead of the same old same old. And yes the in memoriam is the creator of the Berserk manga which is what this anime is based on.
It's so amazing how different they sound from song to song, alex sound like a demon, does epic cleans, they are fast, they melodic they just pure awesomeness!
It’s like what tank the tech said in his reaction. I’ve said it before as well, watching the progression and growth, not just of Alex but the band as a whole, has been really fun and really cool to see. Alex’s cleans in this song are phenomenal.
Honestly this is prolly my favorite STP song now. Cause they’re doing so much different things then what they don’t normally do it don’t sound bad. And honestly I love the cleans.
