- Today I saw the new Friends theatre and thought that this set would be a perfect fit for a Muppet Theater with of course the latest Muppets Collectable minifigure series. I'v already bought a few small frrends sets for the charecter hair pieces and some nice builds or parts. I save the minnidolls for kids who like them. Friends' princess and such have some nice parts and axcesories so I have gotten some for that.

Nothing wrong with collecting lego friends stuff!
The sets are nice it's just the minidolls that kept me away from Elves'friends' princess for a while. When I looked at them closer and realized minidoll hear pieces are minifigure comlatable it opened new posibillities. I got severall city and fantasy based builfd that use pieces from these setd. Like a custom ice castle using mainley frozen pieces and creating figures I call the ice faries.

Wow this is amazing! I’m a huge fan of the Muppet show myself and you basically re-created it perfectly. It just has that Muppet vibe that you get from all of the movies and shows. Good job! That’s impressive

Your mother should sell those stickers! Omg, I’m literally building a Swedish Chef army- bc he has been my favorite since I was a kid. Back in the late 80’s, early 90’s, there was a Swedish Chef cereal called “Croonchy Stars”.. I only know this bc I didn’t really like it, but I pretended I did so my parents would buy it. 🤣

You should totally enter a Muppet’s theatre into the Lego Ideas
The exchanable backgrounds are a good idia. I took a grey building plate and using white flat pieces and studs built a piller like background for the stage. Depending on what color plates I get I think castle' forest' space' under water or beach would be great backgrounds

I ordered this set and one of the little modifications I want to do are some diferant backgrounds. I just want to do some interesting designs like jungle' underwater or sky not realy related to anny movie just fun. Maby a swamp background for kermit. I built a stunt bike for Gonzo with oversized engines and flame. I think some small builds of Bunsen's lab or a small kitchen for swedish chef that can be placed on stage would be cool. I'm not going for movie and show acuracy based builds just some related and fun idias.
I did this exact same thing and posted it on the Afols site on FB. I actually mounted mine on a base plate and did black chairs and red carpet each side of the seats in the crowd.
That's a good idea, I didn't want to invest a ton as I want to buy a custom designed set
@@RepublicStuds cool that sounds neat! I pick up my base plates from dollar tree and they look almost identical to Lego’s colors. And there only a dollar well now a $1.25 since they increased their prices.

Time to stop dissing Friends sets. They are pretty amazing and represent good value for money especially this day and age.
I just replace them with figures and you can use the hair pieces on minifigures. The sets themselves are verry good.
@Sammstudios I dislike minidolls as well. I also dissaprove of the heavy use of pink and purple. Sometimes I have the parts in another collor. This one didn't need to much color swapping sence the green is more of a wall street collor and this is a theater so it's suposed to be collorfull and red is the main collor so that helps. If I can modify anough the set doesn't matter too much. In my case it helps to look at the insructions an see what is the actuall construction and what is cosmetic design. It helps with modifying and can speed up the building as well.

Just got it. After puting it together I put the extra acseeories aside and am making plans for my muppet figures. The trapdour is great for charecters like Fozzy bad jokes or something. I built a custom pianno and drumset and severall small builds that could be set on stags for charecters like a kitchen setup whith swedish chef cooking and puting out a fire with a fire exstinguisher. Even not making actuall muppet show program builds and references this is a great set to show the muppets doing a star wars play or something.

If your lucky you could finde a deal on ebay. I once got a womping willow set for nearley half price cause the figures wer removed.
I cameup with a little design for my muppet figures in this. I created a sky background and using the plane kid from minifigures I showed Gonzo hanging in the air using the plane suit like he's flying. I used alot of little pieces like that for little scenes and stuff like if I made a beach or sea background and showing the charecters surfing.
You have oficially made me want this set for a muppets theater moc.
I think I'll do a space background and do the muppets in starwars or a castle or forest background for robin hood. Muppets can fit into practicley anny movie or story so doing backgrounds like that would be fun. thier are plenty of classic stories and fairytails for that idia.

I removed or replaced nearley all the Pink pieces and whare those gold and white heart pieces wer I added gold stars instead. I did the same thing with Rapunzel's tower to get the colors the way I wanted. If I can dig up anough brown chair pieces I'm gonna add that too.

One thing I thought was funny is I built a sort of ofice in the aria just below the trap dour. I was actually thinking something like Kermit ansering a phone call. Oh Fozzy is on stage rite know but he should be dropping in anny minute. Trap dour opens. Fozzy falls thru. Aaauuuggghhh! Kermjt........

i didn't know they made these lego figs, you have more enthusiasum ? for the muppet show then they did on Holey Moley this season when they tried to intregrate the muppet show into it, but it went nowhere.

Lego friends sets are fairly good for buildings. Like the theatre here for example. I do wish that they did sets similar to the friends ones in city sets. City buildings aren’t just for girls Lego! Everyone else would appreciate them too!

I just built part of my swedish chef kichen. I used some drawer pieces for s table. The utencills are stored in the drawer. I was digging thru some food excesories for the kitchdn and after adding a fire exswinguisher I added flames to show his food catching fire while he tries to put it out.

Why does everyone hate Lego friends the series is kinda bad in 2022 and 2023 and the sets are too bright for me, but it’s still a good theme
