- From the Disney Store we have the Evil Empreror Zurg from Toy Story Buzz Lightyears arch nemesis. He is our favorite villain from the all the movies, he has 12 phrases mouth and eyes light up with his Ion blaster connected to his back with a spinning button to reload, best of all its the updated version with the Toy Detector mode, if you have Buzz Woody or any of the Toy detector characters they can interact with each other. I know right!! Not sure why they left that out, also we didn’t find the special phrase he had paired with buzz, zurg had the same phrases paired with Woody

I got this zurg twice but the first one broke and it was the original one and I got the new one in 2022. It’s still a good toy.

I think toy detector buzz unlocks some extra phrases when talking to other disney store figures..😊😊😊
thats right! also all the characters from toy story have a secret phrases, you just have to match it with the right character
It's irrelevant I have buzz lightyear now but I don't have the 'Emperor' version of zurg. Also that buzz is a lot different compared to the jcpenney one that inspired me months back. I think the zurg toys are voiced by Andrew Stanton if they aren't then I take my comment back. I have an idea for a new episode in my series on my channel, plot twist (zurg was manning a robotic convoy of himself and the real Emperor zurg is alive out there.)
which buzz lightyear did you get? the one from toy story or the one from lightyear?
What a great toy but zurg in 2018 did not have the sensor so it would not work for him to talk to other toys 😢
yeah back then they didnt have a toy detector feature, that was pretty much the difference and also the phrases, we hope they update them soon

These guys just don't seem to have any conversations,Thinkway's Interactive Buddies Woody and Buzz,and Woody and Jessie,both the old and new models have actual conversations unlike Disney Store's.Plus Disney Store's with the Toy Detector,it's basically similar to Takara Tomy's Life Size Interactive Figures how they just talk back and forth.
Seems like they just squeeze in the interactive feature in the old figure, even the box didn’t change, prolly do a comparison soon
