That is a tough one for Madison. You have enough to calculate without wondering if your gun is going to fire on command, what a head wrecker. The rule thing is a great learning experience and a mistake that won't be made again, probably never happened to her before so was not front in center in the mind. It's a rule that everyone that shoots fitasc should know. Especially at that level. I do agree the ref should've said repeat pair miss first target and shoot at second target.. when one is so focused it's easy to forget that rule. The malfunction rule is obvious in fitasc and no test firing is also an obvious rule. If your trigger malfunctions and you have a replacement better, it better be in your pocket. They can technically say zeros for the rest of the shots on the current menu. You can't leave the hoop.
You think that you can really shoot a shotgun until you attend one of these events. This was in Kansas about 20 years ago. I rubbed my sore rump all the way home, where some of these guys kicked me pretty hard.

Nah that’s crap. Ref should’ve said something beforehand. As that’s a very specific fitasc only rule.
