The kid is special. Isn’t totally relying on just speed went passing on defenders. So much in control when he does it. That’s really rare. What a gem 💎
His physicality on the ball at his age is immense. So strong and willful on the ball and can easily hold off defenders. Exciting stuff.
The thing I like most about him is his versatility, he can play so much positions, I would take him at United any day of the week.

@Chodex when I say physicality, I mean his ability to retain the ball even when other players are nudging/shoving him. He has great balance and can really weave his way through tight spaces.

This kid is still 20. He is still growing physically and he is able to just torment defenders at this age , its scary potentially what he can be. Once he adds finishing to his game, its literally gameover for the defenders in the league.

2. Has good ball retention and strength
3. Good use of weaker foot
4. Fantastic ball carrier
5. Becoming more confident in 1 vs 1 situations with defenders
6. Good end product (assists)
If he adds more consistent goal scoring to his game we have a real special talent on our hands. Hale end saved us £50M+

Saka is what we wanted Pepe to be. Dont know why people are saying he hasnt had a good season. He has always been the top 3 players on the pitch this season.
Saka and Pepe are different types of player. He isn’t praised coz he isn’t flashy. But optimally I would like to have one space aware winger like saka and absolute chaotic maniac that takes on multiple defenders like Pepe. Only problem is Pepe not in form

@@90AlmostFamous I don't think it has anything to do with Pepe being in form or not. It's more tactics than anything I think.
Pepe is... very individual-oriented to put it nicely, and Saka is able to position himself where the team needs him whether it be offense or defense.
Pepe can't or wouldn't open space for the SB to run up, only thing he could do was receive a pass wide and do what he does on the ball.
I'm not trying to say that that's bad, but it just simply doesn't fit into the modern day tactics of most top clubs.
I'm sure there's lots of work left for the young players to better their team work, but you can obviously see the difference that Saka and Tomi
has made on the right side for the team. They actually open lanes for each other inside and out, and Odegaard exploiting half spaces seems to be clicking quite a bit.
That kind of team work just can't be seen by players that focus solely on their individual performance.
Agree Doesnt just stat pad like Pepe and people claim hes had good games. Saka performs every week whether he scores or not... baller.
If he improves his finishing he’ll be immense for us he’s amazing

He is already a btr goalscorer than last year. The way this kid takes leaps in incredible. Not to mention he can defend like a fullback. The versatility in his game at 20 is ridiculously rare

There’s been games this year where he’s ascended to levels of being completely unplayable. Looking at the Newcastle and west ham games, they just couldn’t cope with him no matter how many players they threw he would always find a way to get the better of them. What amazes me is his ability to get to wherever he wants with the ball at his feet. If he can improve on his finishing a little bit, he’ll be one of the worlds elite in a few years
the most refreshing thing about him, Smith-Rowe, and Martinelli is that while they are all technically excellent and can produce beautiful moments, they are so direct. After years of watching Arsenal string a million passes together trying to score a perfect goal its so great to see youngins who play with such purpose and intent
Unlike most players his age, he dont just go past a player for the sake of showing off his dribbling skill. He quite often draw two three players onto him and then release it to an unmarked teammate. By the time the 3 players marking Saka try to recover the ground, damage is already done. That's hell of a thing coming from a 20yrs old!

I wonder how much this boy gonna to cost if arsenal decide to cash out on him. If Antony can cost 80m plus; then of course Saka price will be something else. This Child decision making in the final third is phenomenon, his dribbling skills is unbelievable, his accurate passes great, his strength is underestimated, and his all round play is a joy to watch. He is just so consistent never lost form since he got promoted to the first team; if not the best academy promoted player then I'm yet to see one in England that surpass him. I'm quit sure he will do more wonders when he turns 24-25. Arsenal lucky to have him honestly!
If he has a striker like Giroud, he will improve tremendously and score lots of goals.

He deserves a new contract already. Bloody Walcott was on 140 grand a long time ago. Wenger must have been on the take for a % of some of the insane contracts under him. We need to keep this team together but the mad wages from past is going to be a strain. Lets forget the marquee madness nut job supporters and invest in the kids. Selling some on for big money later needs to be part of that plan. Not lime Van P and Nasri but at our discretion. But we want these kids around for years and form a real team.
