I don't know... how the govt gave seat for teacher those who do worst teaching in school or clg.... But we r lucky to have this type of videos... Thnq u sir...
Sir only you can help me to understand. Im so confused by the sign convention bcz no one teaches these. The sign convention which is needed to be don but they solve without convention. They got the answer but in wrong method. But you teaches all of us in a proper method and understandable way. Thank you sir may God bless you But sir why do you use sign convention twice. Is it allow to use it twice?.
sir, it would be fine if you can also derive the formula for refraction from denser to rarer also. instead of directly using the equation. there is a doubt. Also why do we take R2 in positive sense. for Object distance v', light ray is coming from opposite side, hence R2 need to be -ve, i think, if we follow sign convention. could you throw light on it. Anyway, sir your humility in presentation is awesome....
The explanation is great. However, I fail to understand why we need to apply sign convention again at the final formula when the signs were already taken into consideration in previous steps i.e. in equation i & ii
No Rinki, I am sure you do not need to derive the first two formulas..... They do have their own separate derivation i.e-refraction through spherical surfaces.....
The Gaussian formula for refraction at spherical surface which you are using is already applied with signs. Then why do we reapply signs at 13.05....🤫🤫
The first time, we put values of variables u,v and f using sign convention to specify direction. But we know that distance can never be negative. So we used the convention again while substituting numerical values to cancel out the sign changes we did earlier, thus we get the magnitude as well as direction of the specific distance. Hope it helps. :)
sir you use sign conversation of U twice.. in formula of refraction through sperical shape we use first time.. & again in the surface... so ans is not chnged but concept is... it's wrong

11:45 Nicely explained the concept..Point where incident ready touches the axis is object and point where refracted ray touches the axis is image
U explained everything perfectly that there is no room for confusion....thank u sir...
Sir, you explain it as soft butter on bread 😭 thankyou for making it so easy !!!!! Thanks a lot sir !
Thnx sir perfect explanation😊.

Very nicely explained sir.. ncert taught me nothing but confusion...🥵now after your class when I read ncert it's now teaching me physics 😂
absolutely....NCERT is a piece of sh*t
Excellence explanation sir🌞🌞🌞🌞🌛🌛🌛🌛🌹☀️🌹🌹💖💖 u r the best teacher in 🇮🇳🌍🌍 world

Sir u r the best teacher of physics
Very nice lecture was able to clear all the doubts. Respect sir ❤️🖤🤎
Now this make sense for lens formula
Very good explanation

even i have the same doubt
was going to ask the same question
Isn't that like multiplying by -ve one and then multiplying by -ve one again ? just an example
Taaki tb hm numericals karte samay fir se sign convention lagaye tb sign thik ho jaaye
this video is genuinely best for lens makers formula
Tq for ur teaching. Its very helpfull .please explain this lens makers formula on the basis of wave theory of light
Thanks sir you've cleared my doubt of which i was very stressed. Thanks a lot.
You are God for the students
I like sir writing in the green board with chalk in his class. ♥️
Best teacher... Thanx sir
Best ever explanation possible
Sir u r a great teacher
Sir in the second equation we have already put oc2 as negative .But in the further step we again put -R2.Why?
thank you for every thing really ♥♥
best explanation for lens formula
Perfect explanation 👩👩👩👩👩👩👩
Thanku sir it was a nice lecture

NICE SUPER EXCELLENT MOTIVATED
This video helpful thanks, sir
Sir
For derivation of lens maker
We need to start from the formula directly or first we need to derive the two formulae used firstly?
No Rinki, I am sure you do not need to derive the first two formulas..... They do have their own separate derivation i.e-refraction through spherical surfaces.....
sir the object distance taken from point p know.....but you taken from virtual image I' ,,,,,,confuseddd
Thank you sir!
Thank you so much sir...👍👍

Thank you so much
Sir thank you

Dhanyawad sir 🙏🙏
Sir why you have done two times sign convention
Wohi toh
I also could not get it
Because, you are considering different sides, sign convention gonna change when u change the reference sides.
@@chinubhuyan9666 🤔🤔.....i cant get it....can u plz expln more
Yeah could've refrained from using IT in the first place , then the problems would've been what decided the signs
I wish you are my physics teacher 😭
Nicely explained
Amazing video
good way
please sir tell me why are you put oc2 values 2 times -oc2 and then -R2
same here
Because, you are considering different sides, sign convention gonna change when u change the reference sides.
Please arrange all ray optics playlists in correct order pls... correct it ....
Wonderful
thankue sir
Very nice sir🙂🙂
Thank you Sir
Is radius of S1 really OC1 and not QC1?

Sorry to learn that Prof Pradeep...., an inspiring teacher... is no more......he has gone to god's abode. All my prayers to him🙏🙏🙏
Why do we always draw a normal to a plane
To specify the angle of incidence and refraction.
