Doctor Who Theme - 1980s Peter Howell Version Recreated - Making The Bass
Thank you to Sam Locke for your research & help in re-creating this classic TV theme.
I am going to re-create this classic theme using the original instruments used by Howell.
This 1st episode sees me recreating the iconic bass part.

Minimoog, Prophet 5, CS-80, Jupiter 4 *&* 8, Odyssey! How many of these synths belong to you, Andy? I think I would be thrilled just to get my hands on one of them - except for the Odyssey, since the one you played was a Mark III that had the protruding key bed of doom. My first ARP synth model was an Axxe Mk II with a damaged uppermost A key. My experience with that model is one of the reasons I’m so happy to have the Korg Odyssey clone today.
