I work as a cruise ship musician, and whenever I feel like I’m being overworked I think about the Beatles in Hamburg ! 😂. I’m glad you liked it :)

I was on the tour of Hamburg with Agustin and had the privelige of watching him perform on the cruise ship. I was fortunate to see Paul McCartney and Wings twice in the early 1970's. I became a Beatle fan when I was 7yrs old. I was brought up in Manchester UK and we were a typical working class family with no TV or gramophone player and one day my Mother dragged me into the kitchen where she had a little radio and She loves you was on. We danced round the kitchen and she took us to see the film A Hard Days Night and next thing I knew we had a gramophone player and the album. I played it to death. At school we would buy Beatles cards with chewing gum in and swop them. I have followed them all my life and met Alan Williams a former Beatles Manager at a Beatles convention in Liverpool. The Beatles in my view changed the world in which we lived and the album Sgt Pepper along with the intorduction of colour TV took us from a world of black and white to one of colour. Finally, a special thanks Agustin for putting the Hamburg video together it was very interesting,

I love the Beatles since me elementary days in the 60's. No other band or artists, just the Beatles. So glad I found your channel.

This is wonderful! 👏 I love reading books about Beatles history ("Tune In" by Mark Lewisohn is especially good), and it's so cool to see the actual locations in the video. I noticed just one small mistake in your narration: although Ringo did play with the Beatles occasionally in Hamburg, he did not replace Pete Best and join the band full-time until later in the year when they were back in England.

The best thing The Beatles got from Hamburg was the experience in actually playing the instruments because of the amount of time they spent performing live.
The saddest 2 things is drugs and Stu's death.

Thank you, Agustin. I lived in Hamburg with some friends in 1980. It was not far from San Pauli so of course I visited the Reeperbahn and the various sights which was wonderful. I really enjoy your videos and enthusiasm so please keep them coming.

*_“The guitars very well could be playing an Em, but the piano is playing a G bass note, which makes it sound like a Gmaj or G6. If you try to strum and sing along to Am to Em, it doesn’t sound very much like the song. So, the G6 is basically the combined chord between the guitar and piano, and the best option in my opinión.”_*
Agustín, aqui los acordes del 1er y 2do verso que hacen en tutoriales:
    LAm y MIm(SOL6) 2 veces
    LAm, FA7, MI, LAm
Para el puente, donde John canta "Now and then i miss you" :
SOL, SIm, MIm, LAm, RE,. LAm,..RE, LAm
Para acompañar al solo de guitarra:
    REm, DO
REm , DO, MI, LAm, RE, REm, SOL
El juego de acordes al final es muy bonito: SOL, MI, LAm (2 veces) y remata con: SOL, FA, MIm y LAm.

Thanks for the information about George Harrison being deported and Paul and Pete being arrested. I always wondered what happened. But I don't blame the Beatles for giving the owner Bruno the middle finger for exploiting them.

4:32 was it? In the movie Birth of the Beatles that happens when John "stomps his foot" on the stage. I guess biopics are never 100% correct.

biopics are seldom even 20% correct, you haven't figured that out yet? Birth the Beatles???? That's what you use as your source of information? LMFAO 🤣 That has to be a joke. If it is, it's a very good one!😄

I heard that it was Jurgen Vollmer one of their three German friends who were the first intellectual Beatles fans, who had cut their hair that way and had worn his hair like that since he was a teenager and this was about a year before they even met Brian Epstein.

Thanks for your comment. What do you think would have been a better word for it? I meant, they didn't get much money, they played all night every night and they lived in a horrible place with no hitting. Yeah they were not slaves but they certainly didn't have it easy
