This is what I do with my homemade rotary mower. Former bush hog converted to a rotary cutter for my Bobcat. Tractor for the open areas, skid steer for the hard to get or under trees the tractor would hit.

I try not to run the machine too hard! It depends on the job and time!

So that cutter must be a low-flow device because you were able to telescope it.
It’s a standard (low) flow but this JCB does not have the teleboom on it!
