Loved the show.. Love me some Hailee Steinfeld.. She’s gonna be very prominent in future films as a leader of the Young Avengers. Sooo I’m glad I got 2 preordered. Thanks for the video!!!
Confession time. I am a sucker for a female warrior with a bow. Love them. While I wasn't very invested in Kate's character, didn't love her, didn't hate her, I think this figure is amazing. I'm really not impressed by the head sculpt, think it's very poor indeed, but from the neck down the costume and accessories are outstandingly good. What you say about this figure really being improved if it had been from a time when rolling eyes were more common is a great observation (excuse the pun, couldn't stop myself). You're spot on, better eyes would help improve this so much. In summary, from the neck down this figure is a superb piece to own, but that head sculpt really misses Hailee's beauty. If taken from the reaction to the show then I doubt we'll see any more of Kate, but if taken from how superbly she worked when paired with Yelena then I am sure she'll be back. (Yes, have to admit I am on the Kate/Yelena ship. Far too much chemistry, so much tension, so much comedy gold).
I am getting her for sure! Hot Toys has truly kicked ass with female characters this year in particular I think. But, as usual, brother Opt you are not high enthusiast on most female releases. Seriously bro, look back at all your reviews of them this year. You are most critical of them. What is that about? 🤔 As for me, man, I have a half size detolf just for the ladies released this year! And I am still anticipating the Cat Woman 2.0!
Nice figure, but I could never develope any real interest for any MCU character introduced after the original Avengers/Guardians. Cannot think right now about any character that was not in Infinity War and I would want a figure of. Probably Ronan (Already have an unlicensed one) or Lady Sif, but anyway characters presented before. Gorr was a good character, but the movie he was in unfortunately was trash for me, so not something I would want, for example. Very few things I liked from the Phase 4 in general, and that I really liked probably just Guardians Vol 3 and Spiderman 3.
