      @tobiasladdarn1959 3 роки тому

      Some of it was a thing way before i saw Faide on youtube popping off. At least in my personal experience. It certainly was more basic doe and less about the fighting/bringing that effective fighting around zips and more about repositioning and then healing, not peaking immediatly after gaining height.

    • @nx7249
      @nx7249 3 роки тому +1

      Tobias Laddarn Let's be honest, Faide is the main reason why zipline fightning became popular (and especially if you are in 1 vs x situation)
      Dude is a genius for implementing meta before anyone else
      He created something and then mastered it, you gotta give him props for that

    • @tobiasladdarn1959
      @tobiasladdarn1959 3 роки тому

      @@nx7249 And i’m like: It seems like a lot of players either forget or didn’t play for more than a couple seasons. Cause basic zipline fighting has always been a thing on Worlds Egde and other maps in ranked before. Some players were worse at it and some were better. All in all that is what makes Faide so impressive to me, how he changed the game when it came to fighting effectiveness in these spots. The raw pvp application of his movement knowlegde and skill. No one did that before. And how he prey upon play patterns in such a fast game. Idk i don’t always agree on the way people look up at him i guess. He didn’t create all these things he use, he revolutinized/turned them into ”combat power” instead of escaping or repositioning which most people used it for before(while still obviously not being at Faide’s level). I think of him more like a mastermind than the ”god” or whatever people act like in these chats

    Hey @Faide you can be 100% consistent with no-slide wallbounces if you time it after the apex/top of the jump. If you're moving upwards without speed your character won't bounce (as far), but moving downwards gives almost as much bounce as sliding into it. Other than that I'm hyped for this and love the guide!

    For Octane's pad you can do the jump + tap strafe to change direction right off when you hit the pad so you don't waste your double jump, just when you hit the pad press your jump button and tap strafe wherever you want and you still have your double jump

    a good way i remember to know my slide timing is finding a reset animation timer on my heirloom weapon.. for example 2 seconds after sliding gibby brings up his left arm (shield arm) which means i can slide jump again. Helps in warm up rounds to get my memory back.
